Probably the most decent tacos I’ve ever had in Upstate NY? I mean it’s def the best in Ithaca for sure. It was cooked freshly in front of the queue line, $5 for each taco, and it’s kind of like a self served spot. Also, cash only!!

I can’t believe I only found out about this place as I was about to move out! Ithaca has always had a taco problem – it has very few Mexican restaurants and even fewer (maybe none!) than can do a decent taco.

As someone who used to live in Texas, I can confirm that these tacos are absolutely legit. The folks here know what they’re doing and do it well. I always feel welcome whenever I stop by too, everyone here is super friendly and accommodating.

Very authentic in the way they make it but for the steep price of $5/taco, they shouldn’t be displaying the use of Walmart tortillas and cheese for ingredients so obviously. Translates into a very disappointing taco :(. They also do not give plates so it’s very messy to eat.

Very good. Seems to be the only actual Mexican food in Ithaca (and upstate NY?) and very arguably the best food in Ithaca. It is still Ithaca so the “hot” sauce is sort of medium, otherwise there would probably be a lawsuit, but they get away with it being pretty flavorful anyway. Cash only. $5/taco is in principle steep but worth it in this sadly tacoless region. I hope they stay in business, this could greatly improve my ability to survive here.

Best tacos i’ve had on the east coast!! Cooking the cheese with the tortilla takes the tacos to a whole new level (going back I wish I asked for extra cheese). They were so good I didn’t get a picture but they have a very good portion for being on the pricier side. I also tried their cucumber limeade which was very refreshing; it is more heavy on cucumber flavor than lime but still delicious. I wish I was local as i’d be back all the time!
