I ordered a few steak tacos and a fish taco. There was plenty of meat, so the portion size is great in comparison to some other places. I liked the mild sauce. It added a lot of flavor. On the other hand, corn tortillas were a little greasy for me.

Having gone to Hagerstown Tacos Carlitos location, we have generally enjoyed the service and food at the Hagerstown location. Decided to give the Frederick location a try, we were immediately let down. First, several items we wanted were not available. We still decided to place an order for alternate items. After receiving our food we ran into major issues. First our child’s bottled lemonade was expired for over a month. Unfortunately he had a sip before noticing. When letting the cashier know about the issue, she had a nasty attitude about exchanging the drink for us. Did not even apologize. The second issue, two of the items we tried to order magically became available after being told they were out of the ingredients. This order was placed 10 min after us from a customer that had asked what my order was and I let them know that I had al pastor nachos, that I would normally get tortas but we were told they were not available. He must’ve brought the ingredients with him when ordering because he was able to get a Torta. Very unsatisfied with the service and food. This location is not worth it.

This was our third attempt to enjoy this place but it was yet again a fail. Ordered steak burrito. Was not wrapped well. The burrito was tasteless as my husband put it. Out of two of us trying the burrito we only ate a quarter of the expensive burrito. $12. There were crunchy pieces of rice. I can only assume it was old. Chips were $7 so we did not order those. I do not recommend.

I’ve been a few times over the last year and what has been consistent is that they always seem to get my order wrong. ALSO for $30 for 1 plate and a drink, the packaging is cheap. My take out order was packaged in 2 paper plates with a small piece of foil. I asked her to bag it up so I can take it to go in the car… The people working behind the counter never seem to know what the orders are, any specifics. I ordered platanos and never got them. Today I ordered a lunch pollo asada and a pina colada… $30!!! The woman almost forgot the $10 drink with the order then I had to wait 20 minutes. Taco bar is much better located near the Warehous cinemas and boscoffs.

My son & I go to eat here often for Taco Tuesday & the tacos are $2 on Tuesdays. We went today & instead of 6 tacos being $12 they were $25. My son ordered & paid for them & when I realized the total, I questioned the guy at the counter & he said it was because my son didn’t ask for Taco Tuesday Tacos. Now we go a lot & have been for a year or 2 & NEVER once did we ask or were we asked if we wanted the Taco Tuesday Tacos!! Neither of us ever noticed a size difference either. We definitely won’t be back!! He could have at least apologized but NO.

The tast is OK but not worth the price I put in a order for 3 tacos because the picture shows 3 so I thought I was getting 9 tacos for me and my brothers but I got it and instead of 9 I got 3 tacos the picture was very misleading I me and my brothers only got one not filling at all

Worst food ever …..one of those places faking Mexican food …..my horchata water was bad I mean bad like it had been sitting in the big container they had for days i ask for an exchange they give the other flavor and it was the same ….after 30 min I got my food tok two bites and throw it in the trash Can it was so bad ( I’m no picky at all ….first time I write a review )

I ordered 3 items (2 different types of tacos and one quesadilla order) and only received one taco order and the quesadilla. When I asked for the other, the older man running the counter claimed they already gave me my order. In addition, the orders were slow ( one at a time) and when I asked for a second tiny plastic container of salsa (prior to being shorted on my order, so no anger involved.) , the old man at the counter told me they wouldn’t give it to me. (Only one per order he said.) The man was extremely rude, he shorted my order and he was a cheapskate. What else can you call it when your limited to one tiny plastic container of salsa. I will NEVER eat there again. The food was not bad but the customer service was atrocious. Hope they’re happy that they cheated me out of $3.59 and that they saved themselves about an ounce of salsa. Never again!!
