I wasn’t very impressed with this place to be honest; actually not impressed at all.

This restaurant was on my to-go list ever since it opened last year: I love the success story of this family, who started their business just with food trucks and from there they managed to grow and open several restaurants!

The shredded chicken needs to be seasoned, it is VERY bland no flavor at all. The veggies & cilantro is not going to help much. The (lake worth location) is better on the flavor part.

Please put the same flavor in your tacos as you do in Lake Worth. This place is only going to make it if the same recipes are used as the successful locations further south. The chicken taco plate had zero seasoning on anything. I gave two stars because it wasn’t gross, just completely flavorless. Also, the service was non-existent…. I wanted to love it, but I won’t go back to anywhere but the food truck location in LW.

So let’s start off by saying I’ve had their food before which is why I went to actually dine in. It was weird coming into a place that is supposedly Mexican but the restaurant’s theme looks very nautical. But I came for the food. As we were seated she handed us a menu, asked us if we wanted a drink, to which we responded “where is the beverages”. She scampered away brought us another menu asked us if we needed a minute to look it over to which we replied we did. She left and we didn’t see her for a WHILE. She was doing her thing, not paying attention to anyone but her colleague and her drink. We were finally served but she didn’t even asked if we needed another drink or anything. As we waited and waited for a check, we realized that we had to get up to pay. Which we were not aware of. They didn’t care it seemed for the only two tables that didn’t have a Hispanic person in it. They only cared about the family of Hispanics that were there. Bare it, there only was three tables and the guys at the bar, so it wasn’t busy. If I didn’t thoroughly enjoy the birria taco I would never order again. But I guess I have to settle for pick up.

Food was good, our meal came with a small salad, however, when asked for oil&vinegar we were told they did not have any only blue cheese dressing. We ordered margaritas, which were bitter. When asked to add more triple sec, we were charged extra! Isn’t triple sec one of the ingredients for margaritas? Not sure I’ll be a returning guest.

Tacos Al carbon used to be the go to places for locals but has has fallen so much. Decor is remanence of the glory days as the go to original taco stand joint with large jugs of drinks sitting by the truck. This place is in ill repair with mediocre food and subpar ingredients.

Food is ok and they have a pretty decent selection of tacos. The waitress was very nice and the people who receive you at the front they were friendly. The prices are not that good, it’s a little bit pricey for what they offer compared to other similar business around. A small side of guacamole cost $7 which I have never paid this amount of money for such a little side of guacamole, it’s a rip off, so I advise you to check the size before you order it. I got a chicken fajita taco, a carne asada taco and a chicharron taco. The first 2 we’re ok, but the chicharron taco all you get is the fat and greasy part of the chicharron, never found the actual pork meat on the taco. I’ll give it another chance in another location to compare.

“Taco El Carbon is where authentic Mexican food meets culinary artistry! Savory tacos, bursting with flavor, are the heroes here. From slow-cooked carnitas to fresh pico de gal.” -iG: @MickeyHoliday

Nice large place to have a party. The carnitas (fried pork) tacos were really greasy. My dad was happy with his pork tamal, even though it was not on the menu, one of the waitresses got it for him. We both liked the thick tortillas chips. Service was sparse.
