I had the pleasure of trying out Tacomex Las Colinas for lunch, and it exceeded my expectations! The corn taco plate I ordered was incredibly tasty and satisfying. Not only was the food delightful, but the prices were also very reasonable. The cozy ambiance and colorful interior design created a welcoming atmosphere that enhanced my dining experience. I’m definitely planning to visit again soon. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious food in a charming setting!

You order and seat yourself. We ordered a torta, flautas, crispy tacos and a cheeseburger. They brought out chips and salsa. Food came out very fast. The torta was similar to one’s I’ve had in Mexico. Authentic Mexican food. I will go back of I’m ever in Irving again.

This place is a hidden gem!!! The service was awesome and the food is even better. The food was fresh and HOT! I had the taco plate and it comes with rice and beans. When you dine in they have complimentary chips and salsa! It’s hard to find authentic non “Tex-Mex” food in Dallas and this gem is so amazing! Go and try it!

The food was fresh and hot. Not amazing nor bad although the rice and beans lacked any flavor and was like 2 tablespoons worth. The tacos were pretty good and meat flavorful and the nachos were plenty. May or may not be back.

I tried the barbacoa and pastor tacos with both the red and green sauce. Green sauce I think is supposed to be like a green chile/avocado sauce but it is very watery and lacks flavor, the red sauce is spicy but flavorless. I also tried the sour cream chicken enchiladas and they tasted like pure sour cream and it wasn’t creamy (more on the chunky side) the chicken didn’t have flavor, unless you count the hair I found in it there wasn’t much garnish other than a couple pcs of tomato and lettuce. The rice didn’t have flavor, the beans were the best part of the meal. 2nd time I have been here, 1st time got a torta…should of stuck with it.
