Ok it’s a strange little place. However the food was good and not really expensive. The atmosphere was above average for a place like that with some serious history attached. The awards are a nice bonus. Portions were a little above average but seriously filling. Decent enough price point so we will definitely be back. Not hard to find and decent parking

This was our first visit and they were so friendly and helpful! We truly felt welcome and appreciated for visiting. Even though we only spent $6 total on our lunch for two (such a quick affordable meal!) they made us feel like our business was appreciated. The food was excellent. I loved the puffy tacos, and I love how they close up the ends of the tacos to hold stuff inside. It tasted great. We got to sample the chips and cheese and chili too. I looooved the flour chips! The cheese and chili was great.

Chille sauce was sweet! If your chille isn’t savory you should warn the customer! Nasty I ate it because I was hungry but I could have ordered something else! I ordered a water because of medical reasons not because I was being cheap! I got the smallest cup! I wouldn’t be back!

I love Taco Town. I usually get the taco salad, which is filled to the brim and delicious. The staff are always super friendly and they’ve never messed up my order. They’ve recently remodeled the building and it is nice and up to date. This is an iconic part of Carthage and will be here for many years to come.

Love it I’ve been going there since they opened up back in the day and every time I come to Carthage now it’s a grown up man I stop in. Today again I stopped in and had my good old familiar Taco burger that nobody else seems to make anymore theirs is excellent by the way and it’s good old cheese and dip.

Honestly, I won’t waste my time going there again. I feel like it’s a horrible version of Gringos. The staff was nice, but I wasn’t impressed with the food. The bean burrito was tiny and so was the double cheese burrito. Gringos burritos are cheaper and way bigger. I really don’t know what the hype is about them. Especially when there are a bunch of real Mexican spots by them. The best thing was the puffy taco. I’ll give them that. Sorry guys, just not a fan.

I use the drive thru so I can’t rate the restaurants atmosphere inside, but the food is great! I really like the refried beans which comes with cheese on top. So I usually get refried beans and a large container of chili then pour them both over the large bag of Nacho chips they give you. Plus I get two tacos which are good too! My new favorite place for tacos is Taco Town and I stopped going to Taco Bell.
