We stopped into this location since the one on Idaho Falls doesn’t have the dining room open. We miss the als bar they used to have. The taco slade was great. We also ordered empanadas, but the cream inside was only hot in half of it. The other half was cold. The staff was very nice. The dining room was very clean. We will stop in again the next time we are in the area.

The BEST Taco Time I have been to in Idaho hands down! Portions are bigger, flavor is more consistent, service is light years ahead (especially compared to Idaho falls…). When the owner is working there, he would give me or any of my family, an empanada for free for no reason other than to be nice.

I’ve been going to this location since I was a kid with my dad (around 50 years ago). They have always been popular and busy for a reason. Great food and great service. I read some reviews about Taco Bell being better…lol. That is comical. There is no comparison. Hard shell tacos and mexi fries with Taco Time hot sauce have always been my favorite but, I have had everything on their menu at least once. Never disappointed.

So a little back story. I grew up in High Point, North Carolina and we had a TacoTime close to my parents business. I ate those crispy beef burritos my whole childhood. One day that TacoTime closed and I have craved them ever since. Living on the East Coast I had not seen one of forever but found one in-between Yellowstone and Tetons. I’m so glad I did! This was the best crispy burrito I’ve ever had and my son and wife who had never had it before became instant fans. Hopefully one day there will be one back here but until then I will make sure to visit each time I’m out west. Made my trip!

I rarely ever want taco time. I only really go there if nothing else sounds good or its a busy time of day and I don’t want to wait in line. I think they are a little over priced for what they serve but I think they are a smaller chain and I understand if they can’t match tacobells prices, Taco time is best when it is on sale. That said I have really enjoyed about a third of the things I have eaten there. I just wish they were more consistently good.

I purchased the Crisp Meat Burritos, 4 for $8.99. It was a lot of food, I couldn’t even finish all 4 of them. They are large and are full of seasoned ground beef. They are larger than the size of a taquito. The available sauces are great. They have Original, Verde, Hot, and 5 Alarm. I tried each one and they all tasted great. My favorite would have to be the Original sauce. The Original sauce and the Crisp Meat Burrito is a great combination of flavors. Taco Time is a great alternative to Taco Bell if you desire a change. The parking lot in the front is a little tight. The bathrooms were clean.

They are always super friendly here. The food is fast and tasty. They also have the best ice and Coca-Cola around. I don’t even care for Coke, I’m a Pepsi drinker and I like their Coke.

3 stars is generous. i thought it was a one time thing but my cheese is never melted. are college students working here? yikes. everything is overpriced for the lack of quantity/quality given. go to taco bell instead.
