If you’re from Mt Carmel, it’s a 5 star. In comparison to anywhere else, it’s a 4. The works are friendly. It is fast food Mexican American, heavy on the American. They are mostly known for their sodas. They are normal soda (tastes like slightly higher syrup than most places) with crunchy ice. They keep things clean. Older style ordering, not machines. Overall, a good place to stop for a light lunch. Nacho Papas are my favorite.

Taco Tiera is synonymous with Mount Carmel. Try their nearly world famous sancho and wash it down with one of their fantastic Pepsi products. It is a locally owned and managed business. The Blake family are first class people all around.

This is a fantastic little spot for tacos. It’s not as fancy as a new fangled taco bell, but it sure tastes much better. Do yourself a favor and get the hot sauce on whatever and add a piping hot churro, you won’t be disappointed.

Love this place. Everytime I go to Mount Carmel, I get a ton of sanchos. It is expensive, but boy is it delicious. I’d suggest getting a speaker to take orders. It is very old school with the lack of technology.

I have been eating at Taco Tierra for over 40 years. You cannot beat the taste of they’re sancho’s. But pretty much every item is very good. I met the owner when I was a teenager when he open his 2 or 3rd restaurant in Princeton, IN. I was hooked from the very first time I ate there. I eat there once a week if not more often if I get the chance. I highly recommend this place to everyone. By the way the owner is a pretty good guy so it’s just another reason to support this place. But be prepared for a long line if you go through drive through. You won’t have to wait long though because Mt. Carmel has the best workers and they are very good at their jobs.

Mike, The food is always very excellent and great. Service is top notch. I have been going there many years and enjoy the experience more every time I go. I usually do the drive through. Your business totally rocks!!! My brother Ben and his family really enjoy the food a lot. They think that it’s wonderful!! The workers are great and do a good job at getting the food to me in a nice timely manner.
