If you are looking for a 5 Star restaurant to take your high class clients to, this might not be the place for you. If you are looking for authentic food that you can take with you, then this is the place. Seating is limited to just a few booth type tables, but this place has been a staple for as long as I can remember. Get the pernil with rice and beans. You won’t be disappointed. (I took the pic after I started eating. The presentation was much nicer. )

Jus19.Just so happened to be driving by, and decided to stop. There aren’t many parking spots available, and maybe 2-3 tables inside. It’s more of a take out spot. I ordered the Pernil Sandwich with Amarillos. Great in flavor, great in taste. Not bad for $9.99.

Came for the tacos stayed (and will be back for) the pernil sandwich! Tostones were great too. The soft taco was ok, I’d have preferred the brothy, very tasty beans on the side, next time! Hard taco with beef was good but the star of my large lunch was the flavorful pernil sandwich! I’ll be back for another soon!

Well after the counter help started yelling at me I decided not to buy my tacos from them anymore. I asked for extra sour cream and she wanted to charge me $10. dollars for it. I think ten dollars for sour cream is a little ridiculous. I hope she chokes on her sour cream.

I ordered the rice and beans with baked chicken and pork empanada. The food did NOT taste authentic at all. The beans were very watered down with bland flavor and the baked chicken had bbq in it. Nowhere on the menu did it say, “BBQ Chicken” it just said “baked chicken”. Also the pork empanadas has cheese in it, it did not say that anywhere on the menu. It just said “pork empanada”. The outside looks very authentic and promising but the actual food was nowhere near. Also high pricing for such bland food in general. Will not be returning. 1 star for the nice lady working in the front….

This is not Puerto Rican food! Tacos and burritos are from Mexico. They are not Mexican either. They are Honduran and Dominican and are posing as Puerto Rican food which is very disturbing!!! Real Puerto Rican food is delicious and full of flavor!! They need to take the Flags down!!! They are misrepresenting the Puerto Rican community!!!
