The white Menudo is so so good and they are generous with the meat now! In the past I did have a bad experience but I gave them another shot to write a positive review (: the tortillas are fresh and hand made there ❤️ and also la agua fresca de Jamaica was bomb and reasonably priced!

The line was out the door at 2 in the afternoon. I don’t know about you but anytime I see a line outside at a food joint I always take it as a good sign. It was. The food was awesome. A friendly little old lady stood behind the counter making fresh tortillas from a wood press. When the day authentic they are not kidding. 5 stars all the way. Looking forward to coming back!

The food was mostly good, but not worth the high asking price. I went in for something I saw listed online as being $10 here and they are now asking $17 for the same thing. You can sit there and eat, but not comfortably. They charge dine in prices and the customer service is unfriendly. The pickled carrots are oddly sweet. The rice was dry and unflavorful. However, the Tacos Al Carbon were solidly good. I might come back for those by themselves if the place felt a bit more welcoming.

I appreciate that they are open during the pandemic and really love how they hand make their tortillas but this was a huge disappointment. The tacos had wittle bad cilantro and the meat had big chunks of non lengua. Love supporting small businesses but this was NOT it.

Dry rice is never ok and just ruins the food. The meat lacks flavor and is tough. The burritos are not well assembled (evenly distribute its contents). I’ve tried it a few times and it’s just disappointing.

If you want a Mexican antojitos try this place, they have real traditional food. Like menudo for hangovers, tacos with handmade tortillas, quesadillas, quesatacos and good micheladas… One of my favorite places for a Sunday morning!… four stars because parking sucks on a morning weekends.

Best place for shrimp ceviche in town hands down! Tacos and quesadillas are also delicious. Fresh hand made tortillas on all tacos and the maiz/corn quesadillas make them better than basically all other restaurants. The restaurant’s roots are small home made feel. They are expanding because of how good the food is!
