Taco Rock is a great addition to the local dining scene. Especially nice when the weather warms and the bar window opens for outside seating and Patio dining. Love their fajitas, puffy tacos, margaritas, and most everything else. My favorite, however, is their daytime bartender, Christina, who makes everyone feel welcome. Don’t get me wrong, other bartenders are good too, but Christina is the equivalent of Ted Danson from the show Cheers. I highly recommend stopping by, cozying up to the bar, ordering a drink/food, and forming your own opinion. Enjoy!!!

Great food and service overall I recommend the Al Pastor as well as the shrimp tacos. Queso and chips hit the spot too. Great beverage selections. Maybe 1 time I’m not driving I’ll have some tequila and coronas.

One of the Best, affordable, and casual Mexican restaurants in Alexandria, VA. Highly Recommend for sure. Try their Burrito Bowl from the Not-Tacos menu, it comes with a Hard Shell Tortilla and you can also get a free soft tortilla on the side. It’s a Wholesome experience overall! Thanks TACO ROCK!

First time here, I sat at the bar and had a margarita, chips with salsa, and the first three tacos listed in their Classic Tacos box. I will warn you, the jalapeño salsa on the Al Pastor taco was exceptionally hot. I can handle normal hot wings, but I prefer medium. That is my heat tolerance. And that salsa lit me up!!

You order yourself, but it took not time at all to finish. Fun atmosphere, huge screen with a wide variety of rock (taco rock….) huge varieties of taco options. The margarita with mascal was fabulous (also order at a different place). Large crowd, a favorite spot of my family for a fun meal.

Delicious food and a great variety of flavors. Finicky boy child ate most of his chicken quesadilla and loved the mango drink. Girl child ate a plain chicken taco and was stuffed. Wife and I enjoyed a variety of tacos and empanadas; all the tacos (birra, puff, key west grouper, and carne asada) were delicious, the empanadas were ok.

Heard a food influencer talking about how good the stuffed jalapenos and birria was so decided to give it a try, it’s not what I thought it was going to be like because it said grilled cheese with etc but it didn’t taste nothing like a grilled cheese, tasted like just a regular cheese with meat and the poppers I would say eat them while there hot to enjoy the full potential of them.
