I had the cactus tacos and one pastor enchilada. Service was quick and friendly. Food was well-presented, tasty and hot! I thought the price for most the items was reasonable; even better if they offered some free chips. We will definitely be returning. I would say this is one of the top 5 Mexican food places we’ve been to so far in Chattanooga area; having moved here from Arizona four months ago. I would say they aren’t really allergy-knowledgeable but they don’t use lard and you can get corn tortillas if gluten is an issue.

I love the name and I love the restaurant. I had the wet burrito and it was just awesome. For a Monday they were very busy during the lunch hour. I was lucky enough that the owner Selma was my waitress. She was a very attentive and kept checking with me and her other guests. The other waiter that was there was doing the same with his guests. I was fortunate enough to meet her son, Jonathon, who was going from table to table to ensure everything was OK with everyone. He was so polite and endearing & professional as he was answering many questions like a professional host. Don’t miss this Chattanooga up-and-coming Awesome little restaurant.

Happened up on this hole-in-the-wall during lunch time. I heavily recommend it. Had the street tacos. Just like what I got in a small community in the Yucatan Peninsula. The queso was great and so were the chips they served. Nothing like I’ve received at just about every Hispanic restaurant I’ve ever been to. My service was great as well.

Food was great. No complimentary chips and salsa & the cups for drinks are so small so we had to constantly bug our waitress for refills. The server forgot my daughter’s meal so she had to wait a long time while we all had our food. The dining room was cleanish but small and there were kids listening to tablets turned all the way up and it’s all we could hear. This would be excellent food for carry out!

Definitely love the variety of plates and a pic to help you decide. Really liked it. Will have to go back to taste more. So far what we have had has been good. The kids chicken bites were not to their liking…too dry. The other 2 dishes were not bad. Kids helped us eat ours and they liked it. Will definitely go back to try something new

Taco Roc has always had excellent food. Now it seems that the menu has expanded along with the restaurant. More seating, more menu items. I usually go for the street tacos or a tostada, but I tried the fajita burrito and may just have a new favorite. Always excellent food, always excellent service.

Overall, my first experience here was just okay. I ordered the steak soft tacos platter and it came with the traditional rice and beans. I’ve eaten at countless Mexican restaurants over the years and have never had spicy rice and beans. And not just a little heat, spicy as in not enjoyable and couldn’t eat them. I was also not impressed with the salsa bar being located by the front door, meaning all the dust and debris from highway grime settles in on it every time someone opens the door. Not to mention that cannot be good for temperature regulation.
