Tried on recommendation and not disappointed. Had three street tacos; carnitas, bistro and chicken. Carnitas the best by far. Guacamole freshly made, chips and salsa and spicy sauces to accompany. Will definitely come back.

I absolutely love this place! Every time I visit, they are extremely friendly and the food is some of the best tacos in town. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of and the environment is inviting and family-friendly. I can’t recommend Taco Pionero enough – authentic Mexican food and culture!

Food has good flavor but wish they had better salsas! The salsa verde before was spicier and now it it just very mild. The chicken lately has been dry. Also it would be great if they added more aguas frescas. The service is great all employees are very nice.

Best damn tacos I’ve ever had the honor of consuming. When I was there, he said he had pork on his trompo, I don’t really like AL pastor(pork). I actually prefer chicken and steak. However, his al pastor tacos were amazing, very unique, flavorful taste, a true artist of his craft.
