Beautiful atmosphere and great service, But the food was definitely off. I had the 2 taco plate (chicken and steak) with rice and beans, The food was warm not freshly hot, the corn tortilla was not tasteful, the chicken taco I could not take more than 2 bites as it was the most “off” in taste (bland) , the steak was the only thing that was tasteful. Rice and beans were okay. Again, service was great, but definitely not a place for a great and tasteful meal.

It’s our new favorite Mexican spot in the Fort Mill area, which is high praise given my wife would eat Mexican food every day if she could.. Food was outstanding and service was great, even when sitting at the bar. A mistake was made on our order and even though we denied a replacement (wife receive cheese instead of chicken quesadilla) they insisted on making it right and sent us a chicken quesadilla to go. Would highly recommend the Fish taco!

The building for this restaurant looks very high end, but walking inside, you can see that it is not a match with neighboring restaurants. The server we had was nice, but had us a bit worried from the start with questions like, so you really want the beans and rice. Looking around, it looked like very few of the tables we actually eating anything but the chips and drinking alcoholic beverages. Note that unlike most Mexican restaurants, you do not get nachos included with your meal, they are an appetizer, and a bit expensive too. My wife got a mix of the tacos while I got the burrito. Of the tacos, we thought the carne asada was the best, the pork and fish were rather flavorless and the spices used didn’t match up with the meat. The burrito was okay but had some interesting untypical spices, that seemed to leave an unpleasant after taste. The beans were quite spicy, both the black and pinto. The rice was the worst part, which tasted like stale rice-a-roni, and was super dry.

Been here a few times over the last 4 months or so. Each time the food was excellent. Tacos, chorizo queso, guac, and much more have been great each time. Service was great and they stayed on top of everything. If I had a complaint it would the glasses are kind of small and requires the staff to do a lot more drink refills.

When this place first opened it was amazing! However we just went tonight and it was honestly one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. Our server was not friendly and pretty much never came to our table. She also didn’t understand basic drink orders so the bartender had to come check what we wanted? The Guac was terrible and I spent time adding salt and lime just to make it edible. The tacos were soooo dry and flavorless and the rice tasted like it came from one of those microwave packs. Needless to say we will not be returning. Oh- and while we were there there were employees (not on the clock) drinking at the bar and then still being suuuper loud and obnoxious at 4 in the afternoon. Overall pretty pissed about the wasted 97 dollars for the experience of eating here.

Decent semi-upscale Mexican restaurant. Food was good. Very good presentation. Very friendly service. The menu was very hard to read and font is too small. They don’t say which option was vegetarian. The cloth napkins make it classy.

This restaurant is amazing! Open air bar. Grea5 service and my Carne asada tacos came in under 5 minutes from ordering. Katie at the bar was awesome personable and well trained. Go say hello. Reasonably priced and Kingsley’s hidden gem. If you found this review to be helpful please like it.
