I was nervous to try a new place, but had heard lots of great reviews from when they only had the one small place in Meriden. They did not disappoint. Upon being greeted and seated, we were given housemade chips with 2 dips. I couldn’t eat the chips due to fish allergy, shared frying oil makes for cross contamination. My fellow guest enjoyed them though. Our first waitress did not understand enough English to help with my allergy concerns so she got a coworker. They handled the problem and trade professionally. I got a steak burrito. It was huge and could have easily been saved for a 2nd meal. We also ordered 2 tacos at our table. The food was delicious, atmosphere busy yet calm. Lots of diversity in customers, including those stopping by for pickups. Pay at the counter when you’re done.

I love this place for some tasty tacos! Ordered various types of tacos on the menu. My favorite is the carnitas (pork) tacos. Their tacos toppings are delicious, and I love the variety of salsas. The staff is always friendly, has a clean atmosphere, and plays Spanish music.

Appearances can be deceiving. Looks like a fast food place, but it’s the most authentic tasting Mexican food I’ve ever had. Everything tastes like it’s made from scratch from the tortillas the tacos are wrapped in to the dessert. Very reasonably priced.

I had read great reviews and today I went for the first time. I guarantee that it won’t be the last time. The place was packed, but service was fairly fast. I had very authentic and delicious pozole. Prices are very affordable. Highly recommended!

Have ordered here several times and each time it’s a frustrating hassle. (I don’t order for myself, but for my place of work. I would never personally go here due to the service). If you call to order, good luck! You can’t hear the person on the end of the line; they answer the phone in the kitchen and the background noise makes it extremely hard to hear. The person on the phone does not speak up or move away from the kitchen area and the language barrier also causes issues. Servers and those answering the phone are also rude. I thought maybe it was a cultural thing, but it happens almost every time I go here.

I’ve eaten inside 3 times and have ordered take out around 10 times. The food is always served FAST, delicious, and super consistent. The sauses and salsa are on point! Can’t complain about the price. Less expensive than fast food and 10x better. Quality establishment for your friends or family.
