Update: I suggest phoning in rather than ordering via an app! I caused a bit of confusion with my doordash order and the restaurant was very friendly about it- I don’t want them to be inconvenienced again! Food was great as always!

The tacos,tortas,enchiladas , beef stew are absolutely delicious. We haven’t ate anything here that doesn’t taste authentic. Definitely stop by if you are looking for great Mexican food.

I love that they have Horchata! That’s my main indication of an authentic Mexican restaurant. The corn tortillas and chorizo are amazing as well. Going here once on any trip to Plainfield is a tradition.

Bistek Mexicano is always a guess as how it comes. Sometimes too many peppers and onions and not enough steak. I was impressed with the Tacomex take on this classic dish. The steak is sliced thin and the tomato base is perfectly complimented with just the right amount of peppers. It’s awesome! Will go back again…and probably again.

Had the King Steak Buritto, its ok nothing special though. Meat was kind of fatty and had ok seasoning. Definitely not worth 20 dollars but if you’re looking for a big burrito they have it. They also only gave me 4 sauces for the big burrito and wanted to charge me for extra sauce. Sub par at best. I won’t be coming back here….

Total rip off. Ordered 2 large chips and salsa and 1 chicken quesadilla. I have been going here for years and get the same thing for years. 9.99 for a large chips and salsa. Today they charged 50 dollars! When I questioned the total and asked to see the price list the girl said oh the prices on this menu are old. They charged me 6.99 for a 16 ounce chips and salsa times 4. Making 2 large. Then charged me 9.99 for a bag of chips!!! But there is one the 9.99 bag of chips. How can you charge me 6.99 for CHIPS AND SALSA. Then 9.99 for a bag of chips!!!! I will never go again or recommend to anyone.
