Who doesn’t love Taco John’s tacos. Potato oleś are amazing. Make sure to get nacho cheese with that. Friendly staff and very quick. The bathrooms are always spotless. Parking is challenging at times. Love eating here.

The food & employees (gal with dark piggy tails at drive-thru & lad, maybe cook, with dirty blond hair who we saw in the back) were great! Friendly, quick, and clean! Considering its been over a year since I ate at a Taco John’s, the food at this Wahpeton location was pretty darn good & decent portions, but props to the employees for just being nice & doing a good job.

Never in my life have I come across such a consistently bad fast food place… I’ve given this location multiple chances, and not once have I had a positive experience. Of the 5-10 times I’ve gone, I have never waited less than 15 minutes, and have been stuck in the drive thru for up to 30 minutes, multiple times. On top of that, my order has been wrong about 75% of the time, and I have a simple order. I would not suggest this place to anyone unless they’ve got a half hour to kill and want to play order roulette.

I’ve been waiting for my food (chips and salsa, two hardshell, a drink, and a stuffed grilled taco) at crubside for over 20 minutes! In the past, it’s been similar. I’ve watched probably over 20 cars go through the drive thru already. I’ve been here in the past and never had such horribly slow service. I just know already that everything will be cold and soggy. I’m very disappointed

Update: the food has gotten better, the wait is only half an eternity instead of a whole one, and morale has gone up. The happy dance from the lady running the drive thru was evidence of that.

I usually let bad experiences with places go but today’s experience was so awful I had to mention it. I keep coming back in hopes that they redeem themselves because the other Taco John’s I’ve visited have been amazing, but this Wahpeton restaurant is just downright sad; each and every time. I spent 40 minutes in the drive thru today. When I got to the window, the employee stated it was because they were “waiting for potatoes.” (Which by the way had 0 flavor.) I had ordered a six pack and a pound for my children to share. I have never seen such sad tacos in my life. I could combine 2 tacos to make 1 normal taco. Other Taco John locations do not skimp on the meat, but this restaurant is definitely pinching those pennies and ripping every customer off. Not worth the time or the money. They then proceeded to mess up my order and I had to wait another 10 minutes for them to fix it. I recommend no one visit this location.
