For the past six weeks we’ve been ordering 2 taco salads with ranch dressing, usually 2-3 times a week for myself and my elderly Mom. Nothing is ever consistent! Sometimes we get no cheese, sometimes no sour cream. And sometimes about a teaspoon full of ground beef. Last Friday night was the best service we ever had. We pick up thru the drivethru. My elderly Mom WANTS Taco Johns! Please be consistent!

Food wash ice cold. I even paid and pulled forward. Waited a full 10 minutes before food came out. Spend $ 28 for way sub-par food. Absolutely have no desire to return to Taco Johns in Ankeny. Save your money and get something off the roller grill at Q.T. Same thing, just $23, cheaper and warm.

This is my first time eating at Taco Johns in decades, at least. I brought the family here right around 5 PM, Friday night, and I’m surprised at the amount of professionalism being displayed at this location. This place is fully staffed, with everyone appearing to be working really hard, and on-task. All of the employees looked liked they genuinely wanted to be there. No one appeared unhappy. The service was also very prompt.
