This place is the best there red sauce is fire . We always get the tacos or tostadas and it’s really good and the prices are really good. UPDATE The last time we went sadly the taco meat seemed to have changed and had a funky taste and wasn’t even eddibe. I Hope they change back to their regular meat.

My rating is based on one thing… Price! Service was fine and food tasted good. My issue is that I ordered a beef chimichanga there and a beef burrito to go. The only difference is that the chimichanga had a dollop of sour cream and for that I was charged $3 extra bucks So take my advice and just get the burrito, unless you really want to spend $3 for a spoon of sour cream ‍♀️

Service is great…….but this isn’t Mexican food, just because it’s beans rice and hard shell , can’t just call it a taco.

This is definitely a place to dine if you love fresh food. The tostadas, tacos, puff taco deluxe, and chili cheese fries are to die for! They make their own enchilada sauce that you will not find anywhere else. It is a locally owned and family ran restaurant that has been around since I was little.

I didn’t know this place was open until today, and since I had a taste for nachos, I stopped. Place was clean and staff was quick. Food came out hot. Nachos were good. I bit the fork at least 3 times trying to get all the food. It was also reasonably priced. Will return.

I left one star because Google would not allow me to leave zero stars. I placed an order by phone and was told I could pick it up via drive thru. I sat in the drive thru and no one acknowledged my presence (I will give them the benefit of the doubt because it was lunch time. I came inside to pay for my food and I was charged $17.00 for two items that should have only cost about $12.00 (if your rounding up a penny and including a 6% FL sales tax) While $5 may not seem like much, if that happens to 4 customers in one day that is $20 over in a cash drawer. In my personal opinion if a person can not count change back (without the register telling you) You probably should not work a cash register. I will “assume” the error in my situation was because I was charged for a drink I did not order. I understand human error, but if you charge me for a drink I didn’t order and only hand me food, shouldn’t you know you never made or even gave me the beverage you charged me for. The food was nasty with no taste whatsoever (maybe it was just what I ordered) On a positive note I do appreciate the effort of management, she at least acknowledged my issue, but I do not want free food or any money back..I just want to be able to walk into a food establishment, especially one in my own neighborhood, spend my money on a quality product, and receive half way decent and honest customer service. Most of all I don’t want to be placed in a situation where I feel the need to address a negative experience on Google Review.

I’ve been sleeping on this place for years. Great prices, excellent food and staff. Not your typical mexican restaurant. Everything tastes homemade and $1 tacos hard to beat. That chili cheese dip is good af too. This place is totally craveworthy..I’ve driven from Perdido twice just to grab some tacos.

My son and I ate at the Taco House for the first time and it was so good he wanted to go back, the second time was definitely not the same experience but will give it another try one day. Glad y’all are still open after all these years.
