When I lived on Romeoville I came here all the time! The food is so fresh and good! Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had! The sauces are great as well and don’t get me started on their amazing Guacamole!!! Gotta try it!

A little backstory into what brought me here. During the pandemic, I watched a lot of Netflix & what caught my attention was the show Taco Chronicles. The taco that got my attention was the birria taco. I knew I had to try it from that point on. Surprisingly, it was hard to find a Mexican restaurant that served it near me. The closest spot I found was a 40 minute drive. With current gas prices, I wasn’t up for the drive. My coworker tells me Taco Dale serves it. Unless I took the highway home, I would always pass it on the way home from work. Ironically, this is the day before I fly out for a little vacation. So I planned to visit the day I returned from said trip. So after landing, me & my friend, who picked me up, made our way to try their tacos.

Pastor tacos are very good here. Nachos are not the best, but salsas and guacamole are very good & spicy. Service is fast and friendly. Chips and salsa bring me back here weekly! So good! Chicken and steak also very good. Not too salty, lots of flavor & tender.

I went here on my birthday yesterday and with a friend today. My birthday meal is the picture I posted. The food was great on my b-day and the lettuce was fresh. However, today the lettuce was not very fresh but other than that, the taco dinner was well seasoned. The guacamole was very good too.

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews…Did and online order, said it would be ready in 30 minutes. Got up there at the promised time, didn’t leave with my order for ANOTHER 45 minutes. I understand that there can be back ups with a bunch of orders coming through, but for an order to take an hour and 15 minutes (2 steak tacos, 2 sopes, and 2 kids cheese quesadilla meals) is absolutely beyond ridiculous.
