We tried it for the first time tonight. We like to try new places. It was very busy. Everyone was polite. Our service was slow, very slow, salsa was good, cheese dip watered down… fajitas were not so good. It didn’t taste fresh. Unfortunately, it was not a great experience.

The food has been watered down to satisfy mostly American restaurant goers…similar to other American/Mexican restaurants…so the real flavor of Mexico is missing. The restaurant interior decor looks like every other American/Mexican restaurant in the area so its nothing different. The food and decor is not terrible…just not what I am looking for.

Taco City has an authentic Mexican restaurant feel with the decorative color scheme and menu items. Walked in the restaurant and upon taking my seat I was quickly given some chips and salsa. I felt like the food was reasonably priced and portion size was adequate. I think the food was good also. Not great but good. It did taste authentic.

We had been wanting to come here for a long time but just never stopped in. We finally did, and we were upset we didn’t come here sooner! The food was top-notch and way better than most other mexican food places in the area. Service was a bit slow, but we were also in the back room with a medium-sized group, which is understandable for the rest of the restaurant being full as well. We will definitely become regulars here!
