This place is located inside Ilani. We stopped by for a quick meal before heading home. The food here is ok and comes out pretty quick. I ordered the carnitas salad, tacos, and chips and queso. The quality of food is medicore, but the portions are generous. The queso was a bit runny. Overall, if you need to fill up at a reasonable cost, this place does that.

Soooo slow. Staff are distracted and look bored even though they should be busy preparing food. They were out of cilantro, so the tacos were very plain, subbed Pico. The Carnitas is good, definitely not terrible like some have said, but still very meh. I’d eat it again if it doesn’t have any after effects haha but come on, its cheap casino food so it’s not gonna be amazing.

I love tacos, and granted taco cantina could’ve been better but the person up from wasn’t very nice. She was just rude to everyone because she’s up at the counter all by herself and their computer wasn’t working properly so she was upset she had to handwrite everything down. This was a Wednesday afternoon . She definitely expressed her frustration and the lack of help she got because it was too busy for her. I came here for my first time, ordered a taco salad and for starters I asked for the chicken taco salad with no cheese, when it came out, it had what looked to be over a cup of shredded cheese on top, the chicken was very low quality, grisly and looked to be simply ripped off of the bone, not cut at all. Simply put, it was not one of the worst, but the absolute worst taco salad I have ever had in my life. I could not even eat the chicken at all. Typically a casino will have good quality food to keep people on site and gambling, but this restaurant will not have me back at all, I have no idea how they are even in business with food like this. Please step up the quality or remove this restaurant.

I am giving the Taco Cantina 2 stars because the food is definitely edible, but so is the food I cook at home. Tonight I paid a good amount of money (we’re at the one at the Casino in Ridgefield) for some “real Mexican” like their sign says… well, this is Taco Bell at best. The tacos lacked flavor, the beef seemed to lack a few ingredients to truly make it picadillo, and to top it off, our chips for our nachos were bottom of the bag. The cheese and the guac were good, but I will definitely not be stopping here next time I’m craving Mexican.
