Super weird experience last night. I checked the hours on Google as usual; hours say it’s open till 12am. When we arrived we were the only ones there, no big deal. We ordered about 4 tacos, taco plate, and a taco pizza(?). Another customer showed up and ordered something small and left. Our receipt shows 1035pm when we made the order. Our order wasn’t even ready to go and they started turning off the lights on us! I thought they had over an hour till close. Are the hours on Google wrong? The food was decent but the service awkward. I guess they really wanted to go home!

Ordered 5 breakfast tacos for $13.59. There was a tablespoon of egg on each taco. Classic example of shrinkflation. Tables had been sprayed but not wiped down. We’ll be taking our business elsewhere. Very disappointing experience.

Restrooms are disgusting. Havent been cleaned in ages apparently. I won’t eat there again. I can only imagine that they have the same standards in the kitchen. I went there about 6 months ago and same thing. Apparently the GM or district MGR dont care since it’s always the same. Never again.

We stopped here on our way out of San Antonio. It is 11 AM. We wanted to get a TC breakfast taco box. I was informed that they do not usually sell that after 10 because they do not make potatoes after that time. I asked if those tacos could be substituted for another type he said yes for four dollars more. I was okay with that. He however didn’t seem that happy. I am pretty sure they were short staffed as he was the only employee I saw. In any case when I opened up the fool packs. This is what we got. This is not what chorizo is supposed to look like.

This is the worst TC in San Antonio. I stop here occasionally and tolerate the rude staff, but after my experience today will never stop here again. I ordered 8 tacos, a box of flautas and some sides – about $45.00. They didn’t have any salsa containers at the salsa bar so I asked for some. The guy behind the counter gave me 3. I asked for more and he said that the chicken tacos and flautas I ordered did not qualify for salsa. What?? Is this the new policy of TC? I asked for a refund and left. This is the kind of people you deal with here – they rather lose a $45 sale instead of giving you a couple of small containers for salsa. I emailed TC customer service and doubt I will ever hear back. My advice – go up the road to Tacos & Salsa – great service and way better food.

The supervisor Angie is horrible. I told her some liquid dripped in my food from the ceiling and she basically called me a liar and refused to replace my barely nibbled on Cabana bowl. Her attitude was disgusting and professionalism was out the door. So after requesting the information for corporate, she decides to replace my Cabana bowl but instead of the eggs and sausage beans and potatoes…..SHE FILLS THE BOWL WITH BEANS!

We had a late dinner here on Sunday and basically had the place to ourselves! Chili lime cucumber and Bandera margaritas were delicious, as were the street tacos, flautas, and quesadilla. The food was good, but the ambience could have used some music. It was empty when we got there, and it was a little eerie eating at a silent restaurant.

After waiting inside for 10 minutes by the register to order on 6/26/23, two female staff members never acknowledged or attempted to take my my wife or my order. There was a family of 4 eating at the time, and they have no drive through (if they do, it was roped off), so they were not busy.
