My experience at Taco Boy last night was pretty surprising. It was my first time there and while it was pretty busy and the kitchen seemed to be backed up but the woman running the host stand was very friendly and making sure everyone was accommodated. My one year old nephew got pretty impatient and she was quick to bring out some food just for him without being asked. I didn’t catch her name but she was so sweet and helpful. Once we did get the food it was really good. I got the kimchi quesadillas and I would definitely get them again.

We enjoyed our visit to Taco Boy last night. Our apps and entrees were fresh and tasty. I love the blood orange margarita. I particularly enjoyed the tempura shrimp taco and the black beans. I like that you can have lettuce wraps instead of tortillas.

Nicely decorated every inch. Parking was decent. Welcome to Asheville! If you have a taste for som good Mexican food this is the place! The service was very good. My soup want hot enough but they kindly brought me a piping bowl of Tortilla Soup. Is was delicious!. Try their spicy Margarita .

Ate lunch here a couple of months ago, and the food and service were both great. Our server, Drew M., was fantastic despite being new. Great attitude, just seemed happy to be there. Admittedly, it helps that he kept topping off my pink lemonade.

Wow what an excellent meal. We chose this place for our date night and we were not disappointed! I got the blood orange margarita and it was delicious. We also had a Cadillac margarita and a frozen margarita. Tacos are: chicken tinga, Barria, and surf and turf; kimchi beef, bbq brisket, and Tempura avocado (which was his favorite). House made corn tortillas were delicious, and so were the rice and beans. Will definitely be coming back!

Edited to add after return visits: Each and every time I’ve been here my corn tortillas fall apart, and the staff seems overwhelmed and less friendly. Sad to do it, but I have to temper my review.

oh boy… So after the hype I decided to give a chance to this place. We waited 15 mins for a seat, our server started talking like a robot presenting all the menu and talking for 3 mins, then he just walked out without getting any order. Came back mins after with water and got our 3 taco platters and 2 margaritas order.
