First of all, its important to say that we are from the valley. So when we moved to San Antonio a lifetime ago, we were super surprised that our choices for good taquitos was SUPER limited. Well I’m happy to say that these guys must have come from a border town because we definitely have a new taco spot and look forward to going back too! The menu is limited, but that’s the beauty of it! There tacos!!!! Just order the combo#1 and if you’re in the mood for a meal at a restaurant that might even be successful in Mexico, come here! Only complaint (but not really) is that the drinks are self serve! I’m fine with that but it’s kinda weird they sit you at the table and then they bring you empty cups. Again I’m fine with that because I’m going to get my money’s worth with how much everyone is charging for sodas nowadays!

Pretty good street tacos. There are much better in San Antonio like Eric’s or West ave but in a pinch these are ok. The service today was pretty bad. They only had one woman running the register, cleaning tables, taking orders and being out food. It made for slow service. She said she usually had help but not today. The beef tacos are very good, pastor? Meh.. they’re ok. Same with chicken, meh.. nothing to write home about. Don’t get me wrong, there not bad but they could sure take some lessons from West ave or Eric’s tacos. Id definitely eat there again but just wouldn’t go out of my way to do so.

I’m not swayed either way whether or not I’ll come back here again.

This was my first and probably only visit to Taco Blvd. Very simply it was a very underwhelming experience. I was under the impression this place was maybe a counter service restaurant like most Mexican taco places. It isn’t, it is a mostly table service place. So starting there, the service was fine but underwhelming. Secondly, the menu wasn’t very well written and the server didn’t explain how the Tacos were served. That’s my second point, these tacos were served with the standard cilantro and onion, however they are also topped with avocado and queso fresco. Which if you’re a Mexican native, you’ll know those are not normal ingredients to top mini tacos with. The avocado was flavorless and I opted out of the queso fresco. Also we were the only two customers and the food came out lukewarm to cold. It was surprising to say the least. Overall the Bistec, and Pastor meats were either bland or overly seasoned and the tortilla was very thin and too crispy for some reason. All in all I will not tell you these are the absolute worst tacos. In fact if you’re not very knowledgeable about tacos you’ll be fine here. But for all my Mexican folks, you can definitely skip this place as it was too pricey for the food and experience.

First timer and it was Delicious! The host at the front register was very friendly, welcoming and explained the enture menu as well as gave recommendations on what to order. I Had the chicken street tacos and my mom had the chicarron and pastor. EVERYTHING was perfectly seasoned plus the salsas were awesome.

The “you’re the salsa to my tacos” sign was the main reason we wanted to visit this place to be honest haha The atmosphere and Spanish music was great! Food was very presentable but I did not like that they only put 1 tortilla instead of two lol Also, I would not recommend visiting this location if you have a child since they don’t have a diaper changing station.

I read some negative reviews and my response to them was quite the opposite of what those people experienced.

Finally have found good tasting tacos in San Antonio! First, tacos include onion, cilantro, cheese (queso fresco) and avocado! Second, the combo includes 6 tacos not 5 like many other taco places! Third, the salsas are on point (green-less spicy & red- super spicy)! So happy with these tacos and can’t wait to let others know about these great tasting tacos!

Tacos are good. The beans are AMAZING. tacos come with avocado and queso fresco. I got barbacoa and bistec and preferred the barbacoa but both super good. Green salsa has the perfect spice. Lemonade was okay.

As I walked in I was greeted and attended to. Service was great and food was awesome. Ask for Josie, she was very courteous and helpful for being my first time. She is the hostess and I recommend this place for delicious tacos.
