Breakfast was lacking. Smaller sizes than other locations. The entire sausage patty was missing from my crunchwrap. No one answered the phone for over 3 hours when I attempted to resolve. Online hours and posted door hours said open but only drivethru was.

There’s clearly great local options about Kona, but when you’re talking about living in a tourist-centric town like this, places like Taco Bell are not only convenient but a considerably more affordable option….what gets me is what in hells name are these new hours!? Has nobody alerted corporate of this mess or is it really that hard to get workers to stay til at least 8pm! Better yet forget the morning opening from 6pm-3am, prime Taco Bell hours! Meanwhile Hilo just opened a second location and y’all can’t keep this one open for normal operating hours? Crazy

Yall gotta try the beefy burrito melt. It’s so good, I’ve been having one for few days in a row and will have my 2nd one for today. I get extra sour cream but less cheese. If you like spicy, Diablo sauce is highly recommend. Their DT workers are always so friendly! They’ve never messed up my order, only more sauce than I asked… but who’s going to complain about that??? Hmmm, the only thing is the line can get suuuper long and the cars move super slow. It was nice when they had the order ahead pick up on the counter. I haven’t been able to do that recently so you gotta be willing to spend the time in their DT whether you order ahead or not.

Hard workers, even though they’re short-staffed a lot. Always happy to see you, will ask how you’re doing and if you’re ok when they haven’t seen you in a while. They all go the extra mile to make sure folks are happy. That’s a big part of why I chose to apply and work there.

This is chronically a very sad food consumer experience. First, food is not Mexican, however some food is not bad. What is bad are the employees. Overly stressed and rude. Their attitude is one of indifference and no interpersonal skills. Ask an employee and mostly you get “ I don’t know “. Lost orders. Last time a man was waiting 30 minutes for his lost order. It was never found but he complained that he was still charged. He wasted his lunch hour and got to eat frustration No leadership or problem solving skills. This is as bad as it gets People wait 30 to 40 minutes for their food Employees simply don’t care. They cannot be bothered Drive thru is even worse. Fast food , NOT at this place Never again.

I always had different customer service experiences at different Taco Bells but this one was I guess one of the best customer service-wise. The food was as per their standard but the service was really good. They have different hours for drive-thru and dine-in. So please check the website for proper hours!

Really enjoy Taco Bell. But this location is never open. And when it is open it’s very limited hours. I understand staffing is hard right now, but they’ve been like this ever since covid. It’s ridiculous. There’s two operating Taco Bell’s in hilo and we can’t even manage one.
