This location is always busy because it’s on a main corridor, so expect a wait. That said, my food has been hot when I got to the window, it’s a good value, and I’ve received good service. (Excellent customer service tonight from an employee who had personalized makeup. Thank you to this Taco Bell location for practicing “if you take better care of your employees, they will take better care of your customers”.)

I’m changing my initial review of this establishment after a horrible visit today. We went inside to order and waited for our food. I learned a long time ago to check your order before leaving and no surprise my food was wrong. When approached about the food a employee on the line was aggravated because she swears she made it right and she kept fussing loudly about having to remake the order. When I confronted management about her and how upset I was not only because my food was wrong but because of the staff’s attitude and her loud comments All I got told was they would handle it. I don’t see myself returning to this Taco Bell. I did show the manager how my food was messed up and that obviously her line cook was very mistaken on what she did and on what she was saying.

This Taco Bell is HORRIBLE! The app says they close at 1 am. I got there and the lights were on and I went through the drive thru, I had a doordash so I wasn’t going to leave. I get up to the window and there is someone in there, we knock on the window and the guy looks very angry and opens the window saying “we closed at 11.” We then said how we had a doordash order and didn’t understand why they were closed, if they didn’t close for nearly another 45 minutes. He then tells me again they closed at 11 which didn’t defy why the app says 1. Do better. Disgusted at how unfriendly your night staff are.

Food was VERY slow and the line took forever, the only reason I give 5 stars is because of the blue/green haired girl at the window. SUPER sweet, and very friendly, made jokes and made sure everything in my order was there. Definitely made the wait worth while!

Went to the drive threw waited a really long time. The lady taken orders was yelling at her crew throwing sauce packets at people. Got my order all wrong even kept redoing the order on the screen after 5 times it still was wrong. I got the Gordita box and it didn’t even come in a box there was a missing dorititos taco. Ordered 2 chicken chulupas and was shorted one. Got two bean burritos no onions or red sauce and there was alot of red sauce. 2 Baja blast and she charged for a large and gave us a frozen small. Then I went inside to just get the missing items and people were standing around. One guy taken orders was tweaking and walked off on people ordering. I waited another ten mins and just took a loss on my taco. One guy was just smiling at people confused and I was gossiped about by the lady who threw packets at people working drive threw window. The food tasted like it sat and my husband had to go elsewhere to get a real meal.

I was doordashing and I got an order for Taco Bell at 12:03 AM. And when I went to go pick it up they said they closed at 11PM. Online it says they close at 1AM. So either they need to update their online hours, or their employees decided to close early. And when I was told by the employee they closed early, he was quite rude about it as well. I didn’t even order food their and was displeased with their service by itself.

Less than one star. The only thing that has changed about this location in 5 years is the newly renovated lobby. Other than that the service is terrible, food is made poorly and of low quality. Best of all I guarantee you if you go thru the drive thru ANY DAY OF THE WEEK after 4pm you will wait a minimum of 30 to 45 mins (again minimum!!) before getting your food which is usually missing 1 or 2 items or is not your order at all. I still cannot grasp how managers or even the owner is not aware of or addressing this issue. The business would thrive, as it is always busy, but more & more people stopped going due to the wait times. I feel bad for the employees because they try but when you receive low wages, no teamwork and lack of experienced leaders it shows in the quality of the food you present to the public.

Awful. The drive through line is always a mile long and takes anywhere from 30-45 minutes. They close the inside of the restaurant when they get busy. If you order online and pick In-store pickup they make you wait in the long drive through line.

Horrible late evening Drive Thru and meal prep at this location. On the evening of May 12, 2023 I found a piece of plastic in my bean burrito and hair in another. I’ll never eat Taco Bell again. And I was only visiting Topeka for a day or so. And that’s the service I got. What a joke. Taco please hurry and put robots on the kitchen to better prepare your customers meals.
