Been going to the Sullivan MO Taco Bell for years, and despite the chances of things going wrong, I’ve never had a bad experience here. This place sets the bar high, for sure. The staff is well-trained and attentive at the counter, the soda fountain always in good working order, the food nearly always defies logic with how quickly it comes out, and the taco line crew makes tacos that put other locations to shame. Was a little shaky post-pandemic when the dining room was mostly closed due to staffing issues, but it’s back open now. Pro tip: skip the self-ordering machine, the crew can enter your order much faster at the normal registers.

Today is the second time I’ve come here just for the dining room to be closed in the middle of the say for seemingly no reason. I’m not local so I’m not eating in my vehicle. At least the KFC next door always has their doors open.

The food is fresh and delicious everytime. The frozen flavored icees are amazing! Clean bathrooms inside and the line moves pretty fast . Drive thru can get slightly backed up at lunch time but moves pretty good considering.

3rd time I’ve ordered a chalupa no tomatoes only for it to be smothered in tomatoes. Also 2nd time getting the number 10 (grilled chz burrito and a taco) and so far 2/2 on not giving me the taco that comes with it.

My only problem with this Taco Bell is that they set the bar too high for every other Taco Bell on the planet. They consistently get my order correct, fill my burritos to the brim, and serve my food at the perfect temperature. They take too much care to craft $2 burritos to perfection in no time at all. When I ask for no cheese, they make sure not a single shred of yellow touches so much as the paper that they carefully wrap around my food. I have never bitten into a burrito from this location and gotten just a mouthful of tortilla (I can’t claim the same for other locations). I don’t know anyone who works at this location, but I would gladly take a bullet for the boys in drive thru and the kitchen staff. Other Missouri Taco Bell locations (I’m looking at you Rolla and STL) take note. These guys know what they’re doing. Thank you for your service. 5 gold stars.
