Place has gone downhill a bit since COVID. No longer make their own corn tortillas and the food doesn’t taste as good as it used to. Sad, used to be my favorite taco shop

Have been coming here for the past 12 years. So good to see the Chef Edward is still here! Food constantly fresh and flavorful! The al pastor meat is authentic like from my childhood! Quality food, friendly and so tasty!!

The tacos are ok. However, everything else is wrong. They have authentic Al Pastor, but they are stingy with the pineapple. They don’t have a salsa bar. They charge for water, spicy carrots, and limes. They don’t have fresh agua fresca, only bottles.

Way over priced… 2 tiny tacos from their TJ taco basic options will set you back +$9, flavors we average, & maybe a teaspoon of guacamole. The taco bar needs to step it up a ton of they are going to charge a premium for TJ Tacos..

I ordered a few items for my family, then I proceeded to order for myself, a carne asada quesadillas, ” plain ” the girl at the register said it will cost more because it’s considered special order.. what in the world?? I said okay, what’s in the quesadillas? She said Pico and guac, okay, can they put it on the side, NO, I will have to charge extra for special order.. what the heck??!! Then I asked for beans in my tacos, that’s extra too. Wow ! Mexican restaurants DO NOT, NEVER EVER CHARGE for beans….. just plain wrong.

The chili reanos is oh so good!! Filled with melted cheesy cheese and covered in a nice sauce. The tacos are great too. The tortillas are handmade and they carve the meat right off the rotisserie. Oh they have the fancy coke machine so go crazy mixing. We thought the portion sizes were also good.

Great place to grab a quick bite. They offer a couple of vegetarian options. Food is good and it comes out fast! I really enjoy the potato taco combination plate.

Not worth $20 for 3 small, dry tacos, a scoop of rice and scoop of beans. Never again. The steak was tough and dry, nothing seasoned.

chicken was dry in the street tacos, cali burrito tasted weird. they don’t have complimentary water, you have to buy a bottle which is ridiculous when the food is so salty, dry and flavorless. they also gave me lemons instead of limes which was weird
