Tachido has become our favorite sushi restaurant, hands down. The ambiance is a vibe and the sushi rolls are delicious. My new favorite has to be the Dinamita roll, baked crab, creamy avocado, cucumber, crowned with a tempura shrimp dynamite.

Everything here is amazing! I was excited to see my miso served with mushrooms & tofu! Let me tell you about their dumplings. They come with a miso butter sauce, and yes, it is savory decadence. I also ordered a tuna handroll so crisp and fresh. Then I finished off with the TaChido roll featuring all fresh fish(got mine without jalapeño) it was beautiful expression of sushi with a Mexican twist. Shout out to Hector for his amazing service too.

Wow… they had the best crunchy tempura vegetables I’ve ever had. Extremely light battered and tasty the sauce is tangy and sweet. Seriously I’ve never tasted anything like this before. Also I love that they put edible flowers on the vegetable roll called purple rain! The staff was all super friendly specially Hector. I got my food to go but after seeing how cool it looks inside they let me sit there a little after hours. The chairs are so ridiculously comfortable it’s like a padded velvet i didn’t want to get up. Artsy and unique decorations inside and they play good electronic music. My favorite sushi spot now in San Diego!!!

Some of the best sushi rolls we have had, locally, for a long time. Highly recommend the hamachi aguachile, fuego 18, chato roll, and surf and turf. Hope they keep the consistency up because this may be our new sushi spot if it does. They did a great job with the remodel from the sushi spot it took over. Prices may be steep for some but the quality is better than places nearby and worth the price tag.

Well if you like paying $100 for Costco sushi rolls, you have found the place. Literally looks and taste Costco sushi, tempura plate was 3 shrimp and bell peppers?? I’m getting pretty sick of these new trendy restaurants that charge a fortune for garbage food. Waste of $100 plus it takes forever to get food. See ya

Oh my gosh! This place is amazing and a little well kept secret as far as I see it! Went here for a late dinner with a GF who also lives nearby and we were very impressed with the quality and atmosphere. Its a great date night spot or place for to get great sushi in a nice location. Its pretty central to everything and not far from North Park.

Food was good, not the best sushi I’ve ever had but the fried spicy roll was nice. Took forever though…our waitress seemed like she was actively ignoring us. After an hour we asked for the check because we were on a time crunch and still hadn’t received our sushi, she said it would be right out. Waited another 15 mins, there were only two other tables seated at the time too.

Beautiful decor, very delicate tasting food and great service. We arrived without a reservation but there were seats available at the counter so we still had a chance to dine without to wait, but I’ll be making a reservation for sure next time
