Cute restaurant near Lake Harriet. It is set in a commercial setting and there are many restaurants around. I chose this one because it has a large outdoor patio and I can’t stand the cold air conditioning inside the places during the summer. Good tacos prepared with care and average prices. I recommend it.

Finally came to Taberna and I am mad at myself for not coming here sooner. The service is fast, knowledgeable and friendly. The food- incredible. We had the Taberna Nachos and three kinds of tacos.

Terrible food. No seasoning. My burrito was cold to the touch and hardly edible, every single ingredient was cold and the tortilla was not warmed either. Steamed carrots with the burrito… for what reason? Poor service. “Cheese sauce” is not cheesy and very thin, put at the bottom of the nacho box pre instead of drizzled on top. Charged for items we didn’t receive.

Great place for indoor or outdoor dining. We chose this place to fuel up before walking around lake bde maka ska. The outdoor patio is perfect with lots of seating and great scenery. The cauliflower tacos are life! Make sure to order the chips and salsa.

This place deserves 5 stars. I almost gave 4 because I eat some of the best tacos all over the country and if I’m comparing truthfully it’s not better than 4 out of 5 taco spots. That being said, It exceeded my expectations for tacos out here.

Very yummy, prices during happy hour are hard to beat! I got a burger and fries for $8, big and delicious burger. My girlfriend got a shrimp taco, churro taco and a normal taco. She didn’t love the shrimp one but I think that’s mostly due to preference. We live nearby and will be back again!

Came in on a quiet Tuesday for lunch and was invited onto a spacious patio dotted with cheery yellow chairs. We didn’t realize there was a taco special on Tuesdays – street tacos are $2.22 each. The selection is expansive, interesting and diverse – Korean, Vegan Chorizo, Crispy Shrimp, Baja Fish, Carne Asade, etc For $2, I wasn’t expecting the tacos to be very big or filling. Boy was I wrong!!! Every taco I ordered was stuffed full of fresh ingredients. The fish on the Baja fish taco was huge and the Carne Asada was over flowing with bits of savory steak. I ordered 4 tacos and was full after eating only 2.
