We had the most enjoyable dinner in recent memory. That says a lot since we eat out at least once or twice a week. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, like what fine dining restaurants should be but becoming increasingly rare. I would characterize the food as tasty and adventurous. The chef came up with different way to challenge our taste buds, and we liked them mostly. We were told that the chef came from CA, and that explains the Asian influence in the cooking. We also enjoyed the ambiance and lighting of the dining room, perfect for a date night.

Seriously. I’d give a 6 star if I could. Have not tasted a better chicken and waffles. Their waffles is a churro! And the chicken was done perfectly. Crispy, not too oily. And even the Eggs Benedict had a surprising buttery twist to it. Coffee wasn’t out of this world but it was fine. The atmosphere in the garden was cute too. My companion and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Solid spot! Tucked away from the busy downtown, you get a decent bite and beautiful courtyard. Worth the visit if you’re in the mood for classic American breakfast.

So good! I had an omelette with spinach and cheese. The accompanying biscuit was fantastic. My companion had the French toast and it was excellent! The syrup which is blended maple and sorghum, was a really nice touch! Coffee was good, service was good up until we were ready and waiting, and waiting for the check. Our server disappeared and we had to tag another staff person to get the check and then finally got up and took the check to the receptionist. It was an annoyance after such an otherwise superb experience! We’ll definitely go again!

Just lovely. Everything about this cozy little nook to have a fancy cocktail is lovely. Staff was kind and efficient. Drinks were tasty. Atmosphere divine. Next time I’m staying for dinner!

Pork over cooked, duck under cooked, lots of sweet and salty which is usually nice but sometimes to sweet. Great building. $250 before tip, no alcohol four adults two apps four mains. Decent stop.

Part of the quirky Tabard hotel, the restaurant is cute and intimate. We only had breakfast and while somewhat reasonable for the area, it did not blow my socks off. The menu is small and strange. A lot of people seem to love the brunch, probably out of the novelty of the place. According to the menu, it said it makes the scones daily, but mine was definitely not fresh and was microwaved. Husband had the spinach omelette, which he said was fine. The cappuccino was okay. I really wish they would step it up in the kitchen. Such as cute place. Service was okay.

One of my favorite places to eat. I typically get the chicken and waffles. The meal is a 4. The problem with that meal is the chicken is not seasoned at all. I’m assuming because the chef is relying on the bacon to add the flavor. Unfortunately, I don’t eat bacon so I ask for it on the side since my partner enjoys it. Also, the put too much syrup on the waffle. It would be better if they did a drizzle and gave you a side of syrup to add more. The atmosphere and the service earns a 5!
