Not sure what happened but when they first opened, great service, fast, enjoyable. Recently (Sept 2022), has been an absolute headache going here. Food is missing, orders are given away to the wrong patron, orders are forgotten and patrons are asked “what did you order” like they have to make it again. At this point, was a frequent customer (2 times per week), now when asked if I want Mexican food, suggest going somewhere else.

Ordered a steak burrito and the meat was as cold as the lettuce and tomatoes . And the tortilla was cold as well.

Customers service is always good the food is great too but for some reason went in yesterday two hours before closing and the steak tacos weren’t the best and cold than they were stingy on the rice. Only thing was good was the rice water. Only thing I drank and slept on a empty stomach. But that won’t deter me from going again I just have to go during busy hours where I know it’ll be more fresh than was I had on Sunday 23 2020

Now this is what I call authentic Mexican cuisine everything I have ever ate here is great love the trepas lengua rice and the tamales are delicious great service also the only place for great Mexican food in homer and New lennox .

Ta Canijp is awesome, wonderful, great place to dine in. Inside of Gas & was gas station and Truck stops. Ta Canijp has a awesome Mexican American food at much cheaper prices. The food is so good.
