It’s right on the corner of S. Broadway and Salem St. Restaurant felt like a family business. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Prices were reasonable. My partner and I ordered Pho Dac Biet and Pork Chops. The Pho was unique with a different kind of broth. From where we were sitting I could see the chef cooking our dishes and was very attentive and took care of our food. I’ll say cooked the food out of love. Good place and good food.

Have been wanting to check this place out for a few years since being introduced to pho. I enjoyed it and would go back. The combination pho (without seafood) was good and the ingredients were fresh. The place is family style and ran. Their spring rolls and egg rolls were also fresh and tasty.

Great bowel of Pho. The broth was clear and flavorful. I got the special which was extra large. My only complaint was there was no well done brisket in it but besides that it was very good. The price is very reasonable and the service was quick. There is parking out back for about 5 cars but often you can find a parking parking spot on the side street next to the restaurant. The inside could use a little updating but still hold some charm with bright coloured walls. I would recommend eating here. If you do, don’t forget to try the hand rolls which comes with a very tasty dipping sauce.

It’s not good. Like, as a frequent Vietnamese restaurant patron, this place is not standard. It’s like trying to masquerade as Vietnamese joint, but in reality, the food is subpar. Even their smoothies don’t taste right. I feel bad for writing this review, as you can obviously tell this is a mom and pops place and it’s not making loads of money off its customers, but still. I’m really disappointed by the quality and will likely never visit again.

I’m working in the area and typed soup near me because I have a cold. This came up and I saw the pic on google of a soup with veggies and shrimp. I’ve never had vietnamese food, so I told the owner about my cold and what I wanted from the picture and that I trusted him to decide what to feed me. I paid $15 and took it to my hotel room. It was probably our mistake to choose to eat Vietnamese in Lawrence with all this great looking Dominican food around. The Pho was decent but certainly not special. The egg roll was good. But the chicken wings tasted really off, very sour. And the smoothies were made with powder instead of fresh fruit. The service was fine but was a bit of a language barrier. Next time, we’ll get Dominican food in Lawrence.
