Got there about 5 on Friday afternoon and it was a nice crowd but not too busy. Had bottle Yeugling ,lemonade,ice tea,diet coke. 2 had pork chops with mashed and home fries,1 was open faced beef with mashed and I had cod with fries. Waitress named Shelly was very attentive and it was good home cooked food,reasonably priced and many locals are repeat customers who come to eat here. Fresh made Coconut, Elderberry and Blueberry pie for dessert. Would gladly return here again soon…

In today’s America your paying for war, corruption and the highest food prices imaginable. So if it cost $9 for a lunch size taco salad, and $2 for a coke, you might as well buy it at T.J’s restaurant to get good quality food and service.

Bar food.. no fries no baked potato. If you’re going to serve the lunch menu and you are still not ready at 130 there’s a problem. Been there twice and will not go a third time and put up with the dim bulb that served us.

If you’re looking for a small town, family-operated restaurant with really good food that tastes amazing, this is it. Highly recommend the roast beef dinner with home fries and gravy. And don’t forget to try their homemade egg salad dressing. They’re famous for their pie, too, if you can save room for dessert. So good!!

This is a nice little restraunt/bar Just off the interstate. We both got the hamloaf,this was the evening special. It was delicious sweet ,that pineapple juice. Our server was good checking on us a couple of times. At one point,they had the best prime rib in the area. So if you’re in the area or passing through,check them out.
