I started eating here in 1989 – the food is consistently just as good as it was 34 years ago. delicious & worth a five hour drive to satisfy the craving.

Wow! This place is incredible. Awesome Chinese food. First off, definitely get the wontons. They are huge and the best I’ve ever had. I also tried the egg rolls and sesame chicken. Both were delicious. The service was fast and very friendly. Really romantic, intimate vibes inside as well.

The proprietor of 35 years, Nancy (Anglicized), is a perfectionist. Located in the heart of downtown St. Charles on the second floor of an historic building, interior decor is classy and comfortable Szechwan with large windows looking out over downtown. I’ve enjoyed a few dozen of her dishes. All were delicious. No corners cut and very reasonable prices. The best Szechwan dining in the Chicago-land area.

High quality food at a great price. My table ordered the wontons, beef on a stick, pot stickers, orange peel chicken, sesame chicken, and spicy mongolian beef. I’m usually not a fan of beef dishes but surprisingly really enjoyed both of the ones we ordered. Everything tasted great and I definitely plan on coming back!

First time ordering from here. We tried to call in our pickup order and a voicemail came on saying that we had to order online. Couldn’t find a way to do this on their own site, so we had to go back to Google to place our order through an outside service. The potstickers and pork fried rice were very good. The Empress Chicken was a huge disappointment. The look and quality were more like food court Asian food than what we expected from a restaurant.

Their Szechuan Kung pao shrimp is probably my favorite Chinese dish I’ve ever had at any Chinese restaurant in my entire life, and I live right by Chinatown in Chicago. I would eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner if I lived closer to Saint Charles.

So good!! Daily deals, and Sunday was $10 fried rice with beef, shrimp, and chicken. Mongolian beef and sesame chicken (done spicy) were flavorful and our fave up here so far. Pot stickers were crispy and delicious, and I don’t eat egg rolls but my husband said they were legit! And super super clean, nice atmosphere, neat view of main street – and said servsafe certified. One of our new faves, will definitely be back!
