We were traveling on New Years day so had limited options of open restaurants. The food was pretty good, somewhere between fast food and a nice Chinese restaurant. The portions were large and the prices reasonable. The sesame chicken was a mixture of white and dark meat and tasted fresh. The beef and broccoli was a good portion. The brown gravy was in the salty side. The egg rolls were good. I wouldn’t be afraid to recommend this restaurant!

The food here was very tasty but there was a sign on the front door that said you would have to serve yourself because they had no waitress. It’s pretty sad nowadays that people are not paid enough to have a roof over their head and they’re forced to look elsewhere for jobs I think people need to realize that they have to start paying people a little bit more. As I said the food was very tasty the people were very nice that work there and if I come into town I would definitely go back.

The staff was very nice but the food was absolutely terrible. I hate leaving bad reviews and I don’t usually say anything if it’s bad I just don’t go back but this was our second go at trying this place and after spending nearly 70$ to feed my family I had to throw out almost all

Food was not great. My meal was not in the bag and when I called, the man insisted my husband didn’t order it. They did not give an itemized receipt and what we received did not cost what the total charge was. We were either over charged or missing an item. So yeah, I had two egg rolls for dinner. My husband’s fried rice did not have vegetables and maybe 5 salad size shrimp in it. His pork was overcooked. I don’t leave bad reviews but this place was definitely not good and he was so rude when I called.

The best Chinese food I have ever had. Never been rudely treated as some have commented. Been eating there regularly since the Kim Son days. Shrimp toast is amazing. Everything is as a matter of fact. If you are ever close to Hillsboro you should give it a try.

The original owners were great. The newer owners are awful. Yes the food is good but when you literally get condiments thrown at you we will take your business elsewhere. Previous to this the young guy knew my order was incorrect, he opened everything and gave it to me. I watched him open everything so I thought, “okay he just checked it I’m good”. 15 miles to the house & nope. He gave my order to someone else. So just gave me the wrong order purposely.

At Sys the food is always hot, and they load you with plenty of food no matter what you order, the atmosphere is always friendly and a nice family tone. We always have a great experience whether its to sit in and dine or just pick-up the food and go, I would tell all to go get the experience yourself. Family owned and operated. Clean premises and great prices! And , best of all, plenty Of food on the plate. You won’t Leave hungry!!

Great small town Chinese food with awesome egg rolls and good prices. We eat here at least five times a month. Very affordable lunch and dinner menu. Big servings, you won’t leave hungry. Small eating area but great service and fresh made to order food. Have been eating here for over 20 years. Would definitely recommend.

Sy’s Kitchen is run by the family that originally owned Kim Sons, I have been going to their restaurants for almost 30 years. Never lived in Hillsboro but would make the drive from just about anywhere because it’s THE BEST CHINESE FOOD! I remember eating at Kim Sons and seeing their young children doing their homework and now they are grown adults working the family business! The food is amazing and the egg rolls are hand made and the best I’ve ever had!!

Love stopping in here when I get a chance although it is kind of “off the beaten path” for me. But, a few miles out of the way for me is worth it. Large selection of menu items…ALWAYS…hot and fresh. I love and highly recommend the Kung-Pow chicken. The portions are large enough to eat half and save some for another meal. The only draw back to this restaurant is the diner size. A bit small…but I’ll deal with it…
