We went on a Monday night which was fairly slow so it was basically just us and the staff but the food was excellent and the drinks were very good. The chef came out and talked for a bit and the bartenders were very friendly and sociable. I ordered the frog legs and my wife ordered a burger and we were very happy with both. After dinner we had a few more drinks and talked to the bartenders and had a great time. We look forward to going back and would recommend the food, drinks, and atmosphere to anyone that’s in the Stoddard area.

The waiter we had was excellent! The food was very good. I had a rib guy with great flavor but a little chewy and my husband had the broasted chicken and he liked it very much. We shared a bowl of french onion soup and we’ll have another one the next time we go back. I thought the lighting was a little bright for an evening dinner and the coleslaw certainly was a tiny portion. The waiter did agree and brought us another portion which made us very happy. We will go back again.

Good food, nice atmosphere. Menu is kind of limited but everything there is good. Make sure to try the boom boom sauce, anything on the menu with that is excellent. Occasionally have had issues with not getting orders correct. They tend to bring condiments in small condiment cups instead of self-serve bottles which is kind of unusual.

Great food, great service in a beautiful setting. Our waitress was so friendly & energetic. There were 4 of us. We all ordered something different & were all so pleased with how wonderful our food tasted. Definitely will be going back.

Was disappointed the third time there because we have friends that like the ambiance. Three of us had the ribs were so tough couldn’t pull the bones out. Bartender/waitress was rude when we asked what the sides were she kept saying there on the bottom of the menu three different times if I remember correctly. Dining regularly in lacrosse many times at freight house and Piggy’s I would not recommend this restaurant the food and service and simply subpar.

Went for dinner because friends of ours raved about the food. We ordered the special which was prime rib. We waited at the table for over a hour when the staff came to say it was bad. Baked potatoes were terrible also. The owner offered a free drink per person. We don’t drink. They never took anything off of the bill. The total was $110 for 4 people. The $17 salmon was tiny too. Totally not worth the 4 hour drive. The server also was using vulgar language. Not very professional in my opinion. The bar area was great! Bartender was awesome!!! Wish we would have had a better experience…

The quality of the food is only exceeded by the warmth of the staff. This is a classic Wisconsin Supper Club… great food, perfectly prepared with employees who treat you like you’re family. A great everyday restaurant for those who live close, but also a destination restaurant for anyone who wants to see how restaurants are supposed to be run.

Great little drive out of La Crosse. Nice well kept and clean restaurant! Really enjoyed the food. We started with brat bites! The batter was light and crisp with great flavor. Salads were nice. The French and Bleu dressings were killer! Prime rib was good. Scallops were in a dairy based sauce…that was not on the menu. Still tasty. Waitress Mazie did a nice job even though it was her third night. We for sure will be back. Sylvan Glen 10 out of 10 will bang again!

a group of six of us from Viroqua decided to try this place. it was awesome! good drinks friendly and fun bartenders between us we had the prime rib and steaks and seafood. everyone very pleased with their meals. again friendly waiters and waitresses.. this is a place we will be back to..weather permitting as it is 45 min. drive for us. thank you so much for a wonderfull night!!!

My wife Kathy & I stopped in at Sylvan Glen Supper Club yesterday (Sun 11-17) early evening for the first time. We were imediately impressed when we entered. The atmosphere, fireplace, windows, bar & back bar imediately made us feel comfortable.
