Located in a quiet neighborhood, Switchback Coffee Roasters has a modern feel in a historic building with spacious seating arrangements inside and out. Good for small groups or as a single customer. Friendly service with a nice selection of food and beverage items that are reasonably priced.

Switchback is in my neighborhood, and I appreciate being able to support local. Though I have been many times, this is the first review I’ve done for Switchback because I always forget to take pictures of their work. Today, I remembered! Over my visits, the baristas have worked with me to get my mocha perfect. The time they took to ask what I most enjoyed about a mocha and to create that specific experience for me is more than they had to do to get my business but definitely what I value from a company that wants to keep my business. If you’re someone who has a hybrid or work-from-home employment situation, Switchback is also a great place to get some work done. I highly recommend Switchback. Great people, great service, great coffee!

I’m sorry. I just can’t, in good faith, give them a good review. I have frequented their northern location and swung by here because it was a bit more accessible (they actually have a parking lot), but the drink I received was frankly inedible. I ordered a simple mocha. The drink was super sour. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but this was beyond just a somewhat off shot.

the selection of choices for both food and drink make this place worth while. their lattes come with beautiful designs and you can tell that the people that work here love what they do and try to put effort into their jobs. the girls that were working at the counter were really nice and made conversation with me as i ordered. the prices are on the expensive end. my latte without syrup and with regular milk cost 4.87. it’s in such a nice and quiet place tho, with an elementary school by (great parking). i love how this place is not too busy and very chill for working and studying. they have a couch, tables, wooden booths, and outside seating. their decor is really pretty, simple, and modern. the music is right down my alley and not too loud so that you can concentrate. it’s a medium sized coffee shop (from the ones i’ve been to), with perfect amount of seating and room to order. they’ve got delicious pastries and food options, that are pretty presentation wise. it took them longer to bring out my latte than other coffee shops. i didn’t mind tho, it wasn’t abnormally long. the latte itself had a great foam on top. usually foam is pretty frothy and bubbly, but they made it thick and creamy (in a good way) without making you burp if that makes sense . the taste wasn’t really special tho. it tasted like a normal latte and for the price ig i was expecting something more exceptional. their lighting is nice and bright too. this place is next to downtown so it’s perfect for grabbing a coffee and walking around. it’s in such a cute neighborhood too with great big oaks and calm people.

We went here towards the end of the day. I understand why the coffee wasn’t great. We didn’t realize that they were closing so early that day. The milk and my cappuccino was cold. I didn’t even end up drinking at all. I pass this place every single day but have not been back I would like to try it again. The staff could have been friendlier too. No tables are cleaned off or anything and they weren’t very busy I still had about an hour before they closed. We were not impressed with this place at all. We’ll definitely give it a second chance though.
