Me and my boyfriend came for a lunch and both ordered the jerk chicken ! It was one of the most flavorful meals I’ve ever had here in Los Angeles. So tasty yet subtle and refined. They also gave us some complimentary rum cake because we waited a bit longer than expected ❤️ It was absolutely delicious ❤️ the playlist was fire and the waitress was sweet ! We will be back for sure

Nice new place. Needs a bit of refinement, but the food tasted great. When I arrived I was told they only had brunch. $30 for a cup of smoothie (or yogurt parfait as other choice), cup of fruit (said fruit platter on menu), 2 triangles of red velvet waffle (delicious), 2 tender-sized pieces of fried chicken (absolutely delicious) (there was also a vegan option) and the choice of OJ, tea or coffee (they didn’t have decaf), I had the OJ. I wouldn’t say it was worth $30, but it was flavorful and I was full. The staff was super friendly and helpful and Chef Kyndra came out to see how everyone was. It was clean and cozy. I will definitely return…just not for brunch

I had some of the best food in Los Angeles at Swift. Yes it takes long and sometimes they are closed, but 1. the quality of food makes more than up for it and 2. it’s a small, owner run restaurant with a lot going on.

Loved it! So happy another gem like this is popping up in my neighborhood, and supporting a black owned businesses will ALWAYS make me proud. Swift is an adorable cafe and Chef Kendra can definitely burn. Ordered the sweet potato hash for breakfast and the chickpea bowl for dinner. Both were flavorful, seasoned to perfection and delicious. I can’t wait to come back for more. I did take it to-go but happily waited for my food in the beautifully designed cafe. The social media moment in the back to take pictures is cute but felt a little unnecessary. I’m there for the food but I totally understand the need to appeal to the masses. Will absolutely be back.

So happy that this place opened! I really want more healthy options in my neighborhood, especially that are POC so I really hope Swift Cafe gets the support it needs to be successful!

I’ve been wanting to try Swift for months and I’m mad I waited this long to eat here. Listen, the atmosphere, menu, and food is BOMB. My palette has to be touched in a special way to feel compelled enough to write a review. The flavors, the quality of the ingredients, the artistry put into each dish, the presentation. Everything exceeded my expectations. My friend and I had the pleasure to chat with Chef Kyndra who created/designed the menu. Wow. What an amazing woman. She lit up with so much passion when we asked her about the food, sharing her intent behind each dish. She expressed how she wanted to bring a healthy soul food alternative to Inglewood (which I love) while not having to compromise flavor. My friend who I came with who is a chef and a tough critic had NOTHING bad to say about the food, which is rare! Can’t wait to experience Swift once COVID passes and I can sit in and eat.

Well cooked, fresh food with an excellent taste that is served in modern atmosphere. It is on the expensive side and still a great value. Be prepared for great flavors that are healthy. Swift will easily become a local favorite.

This was our first time at Swift LA. The food was amazing, the service was great and the location was quiet and cool. This is definitely a staple for the Gray family.

The best new restaurant in Crenshaw period. A real hidden gem in L.A. Its a toss up between the spicy bison burger or the jerk chicken with coconut rice and peas for me. Please do now leave without trying either the PBNJ or Tarimisu milkshake. P.S no artificial sugars or sweetness but you would never know

The food was good . It needs to have cold drinking water and ice. It took too long for food to come and it came out with each dish, one at a time. It was a bit expensive for the lack of those reasons stated above. But needless to say the food is great. And there needs to be regular beverages offered and not just expensive juices, only two at that. More like water, coke, ice tea , etc.
