Today is Tuesday, July 16 3 PM. This is my first time at the New Albany location since I normally go to the one at Bridge Park which I love…but today I was met with unfriendly staff no smiles, no greetings, regretfully I left a tip, I was served cold coffee, asked for it to be microwaved, we don’t do that, she did offer to make a fresh pot, bagel served with out cream cheese as ordered, back to the counter for a third time for a napkin. Overall of the staff needs to make some improvements.

I’m leaving this review because I think there’s room for improvement and because I’m a bit confused as well. There might be a lack of consistency with the menu in this location. The first time I ordered a Mocha Ice dragon the drink had a rich dark brown color, tasted like chocolate, as it should, and on top of the cream it had a drizzle of chocolate. A week later I ordered the same drink, a Mocha Ice Dragon, and the drink looked and tasted completely different, just like caramel. Today I came back, I tried to tell the employee about what happened with my previous order of Mocha Ice Dragon, she was polite but at the same time a bit dismissive. The drink once again didn’t look like my first order of Mocha Ice Dragon, once again it was a light shade of beige and no chocolate at all. If Sweetwaters changed the recipe for the Mocha Ice Dragon that was a bad call. The rich chocolate flavor was much better. And if the issue is that the employees don’t know what a mocha drink is, I think the manager should offer better training. I’m adding photos to help illustrate my review.

I used to go to Starbucks only, but since discovering this place I prefer it now. Their baked goods are more diverse and better quality in my opinion. I also like how they make their drinks more.

Beautiful coffee shop, very clean, great atmosphere, the blond roast is 15c more than Starbucks but light years better in flavor. The cookies are as big as your head, give this place a try!

After trying to search for anything non-Starbucks, I found this business. The reviews seemed decent and the food/drink options looked like they would be worth checking out. As of now I may never know. I went inside so that I could review the menu without holding up the drive thru line. There were 4-5 girls working behind the counter. And although each of them looked at me at one point or another, NOT A SINGLE WORD WAS SPOKEN. After a few minutes of hoping someone would at least tell me that they’d help me soon, I took my queue and left. They should really invest in automation SOON! If my interaction is any sign, there will be NO CHANGE in the level of customer service given.

Unique menu. Great teas, way better selection of green teas than any place around here. This is a franchise and the other shops in Columbus are independently owned and run very differently. The Polaris shop waters down tea to the point of no taste and uses huge ice cubes. Total rip off, go to New Albany or OSU instead.

We stopped by for a chai this morning. Cost $11 for two double chai lattes, made with oat milk. We asked for extra spicy. It tastes like lukewarm water. Very little taste, certainly very little if any spice.
