Finally! We have a sweetgreen. Perfect sized portion for a reasonable price! Hot and fresh ingredients. The rice and quinoa is cooked just right and the greens are fresh and crispy. The workers are willing to provide suggestions on popular and favorite dishes. Made quick and to-order.

I didn’t know this place existed until recently and I’m glad I found it! it’s like every other “Subway” style restaurant layout, meaning you pick what you want and they add toppings and all that as you work your way down the counter. The difference is that the food is fresh and pretty darn healthy. I’m happy there is a place where I can go in and get a vegan lunch quickly and it taste good. We’ll be back!

If you’re looking for an even healthier option to Currito, this might be your venue. Sweet green appears as a no-compromises salad restaurant that most people think is meant for specific dietary options, but is like any other healthier options restaurant with an added “er”. Healthier..er.

I really like the fresh ingredients and the variety of choices, BUT there is a problem with quality control. Last two times I went, the bowl was hardly filled and today, my bowl was stuffed… the way it should be. For the price point, you shouldn’t be getting a half filled bowl. I’m hoping with more time, things will be more consistent because the food is delicious.

I have eaten at Sweetgreen twice and really liked it. Tonight I placed an online order for pickup. We ordered two Harvest Bowls with dressing on the side. When we got home, we noticed that the salads were made with blue cheese instead of goat cheese as advertised in the menu, there was no dressing included with either of our meals and the bowls were barely filled halfway. When I tried to call, apparently there is no way to speak with anyone, just texting. So that’s fine. I start the text conversation with a bot and they said one of their “customer experience team” would be right with me. TWENTY MINUTES later I’m still waiting. Currito is right down the road and the food is as good or better and less expensive. Thanks but no thanks.

I love sweetgreen and was so happy to see a location open in Northbrook. The workers were nice, however if i’m going to be paying 15 dollars for a single item my bowl should be filled all the way! Not half way. Otherwise, delicious.

I don’t understand how Sweetgreen can compete with Currito close by. Currito charges less and has many more quality choices. Raw (rock hard) beets as one of the few very limited toppings? This was my first visit to Sweetgreen and probably my last.
