The salads are okay, but they’re VERY expensive. My salad usually comes up to about $20 which is extremely overpriced for a salad that I could easily make at home for the fraction of the cost. I also want to mention that yesterday the rice in my salad was uncooked and very difficult to chew. The employees aren’t welcoming or helpful. I definitely can’t afford to spend $20 on a salad everyday, so I won’t be coming here too often.

A solid place for a grab and go lunch with plenty of tasty gluten free ingredients! Especially for healthy eating. Love the variety and flexibility of these places, and the freshness of their food is undeniable. Only regret is not getting the dressing on the side, since they still gave me a lot even though I said light dressing.

This location gives WAY less food than other Sweetgreen locations!! Please beware when ordering from here. My salad was so sparse, definitely not worth the price I paid (esp since Sweetgreen is already pricey, you’d at least expect enough in the salad). I’ve actually never had this issue at the Crystal City, Clarendon or Ballston locations so I think the issue is just with this particular one.

I love sweetgreen. It’s my favorite fast casual restaurant. Though this location always applies heavy dressing. Every time I’ve said Light-to-Medium dressing, I get heavy dressing. If you say Light, half the time you get the tiniest spurt. Kind of frustrating. Otherwise, this location is consistent with the rest of the chain in food quality.

Getting lunch here is a little more money than fast food, but it is WAY better for you and better tasting. I’m really in to their warm bowls lately. The Miso Bowl is warm, and a little spicy hot. It’s a great choice.

Amazing salads!! The employees were so patient with me when ordering I wasn’t sure what I wanted yet. The food is clean, organic and so good!!! Plenty of drink options too! Kombucha, or sustainable organic tea!!!

What I find most prolific about the offerings at Sweetgreen is their willingness to marry warm rice and protein with fresh and cold ruffage. Although cold protein is a staple at most salad restaurants for preservation reasons, the use of hot meat does set the salad chain apart. In addition to rice one can get quinoa or crushed tortilla chips. While there are a number of signature salads and monthly specialties, you can always build your own starting at a base 6.75 before adding other ingredients. A bit pricey for a 1/3 -1/2 cup of crab though….6 dollars.
