The place was dark, obviously an old building, didn’t seam well maintained or as clean as it could be. The carpet was nasty. The service was pleasant, they for got the main part of my order (biscuts and gravy) and since I wanted to eat it all together I had to wait on it. The food had little flavor, salt and pepper helped a but not a lot. Thankfully I asked for onions and peppers in my potatoes or they would have been just plain unseasoned fried potato peices with no flavor at all. The gravy needed more milk or cream, seemed to much water was used and lacked taste, unless you like flour/starch taste. The sausages were well over cooked dry and hard. The chicken fried steak was a nice size but had no seasoning and the breading was soggy and easily fell off the steak. Again the gravy was not that creamy and lacked flavor. It was local so we gave it a try. Everything even the hockey puck sausages were edible but none of it was enjoyable. We will keep looking for a good breakfast spot around the area. Sadly this was not is.

Tasty. We had a great breakfast at this little diner. Biscuits and sausage gravy, pancakes, eggs, bacon… All good. I also enjoyed the coffee.

My wife and I live out of our semi most of the year. We had an issue at the port, causing us to wait until tomorrow. We looked at Google for a seafood restaurant. There were a bunch. Only a few that deliver. I called, and spoke with Anna. I told her where we were and our circumstances. She said she could deliver to us and anywhere in Freeport, TX. We ordered. Kids, don’t order unless you are starving. If you do order and you’re not starving, go ahead and get a to go box. Yer gunna need it!! My wife ordered a PERFECTLY cooked and seasoned ribeye steak with a baked potato and squash casserole. Incredibly delicious. I ordered the seafood platter, with fries and fried okra. There was a piece of fish in there that had to weigh at least a pound and a half, easily!! Anna delivered to us and could not have been any kinder. The order was EXACTLY as we ordered. Anna asked me in her parting words to please call on them if I’m ever back in this area. Bet on it, I will!!!

Very dark atmosphere, old fashioned decor.

We went here for breakfast for our first day in the area. It did not disappoint. Service was amazing and the food was good.

Disgusted! When my family and I went on vacation, the only reason why we stopped here to have breakfast was because I read a few reviews saying that this was the best breakfast in town.

Stopped for breakfast before the trip back home to Kansas for some go fuel. Hometown diner with a simple, comfortable feel. Chicken fried steak breakfast was on point. It’s probably going to be a regular stop once I get moved to the area.

I had gone here on a quiet Thursday, and their food is great. I ordered a classic burger, some homemade chips, and a mozzarella stick basket. The sticks were good, but the homemade chips are amazing and the burger was flavorful. Unfortunately, being a moron, I had locked myself out of my car and had to wait there for a bit. The staff was super nice and understanding and, while locked out sucked, the experience was otherwise great. I totally recommend!

These are $8 “crab” stuffed jalapenos. More like bread stuffed overly fried jalapeno poppers that have .0001% “crab” in it. Super sad tasting with no visible crab meat nor any crab taste. I’d rather they stuffed them with “krab sticks” vs whatever they think they are doing with this dense nasty stuffing.
