While In the area of Stuart, Fl I decided to go to Sonny”s BBQ, but to my dismay It was Permanently closed it was heartbreaking my go to BBQ place. So I went to my search mother Google she lead me to a place called Sweet Smoke Southern Kitchen, I ask myself the question, is it better than Sonny”s? Only one way to find out. I enter the establishment and was not disappointed. The atmosphere was pleasant and was greeted by the server I will call Vanilla, she was AWESOME! The first thing I noticed on the menu was a Chicken Pot Pie one of my favorite dish, what can I say I like them. I place an order for one, along with a chicken dinner and a sweet tea, to top it off an Apple Cobble with ice cream thank you Vanilla you talk me in to it, no complaints. Sweet Smoke as of right now is my official BBQ place in Stuart, Fl a nice family place. Kudos to the Chef!

Had to wait awhile for service but staff was friendly and it was a Sunday. Got the fried pickles for an appetizer. Greasy, and small portioned for a $10 app in my opinion. I did get the pick 2 with caramelized pork belly and pulled pork with Mac and cheese & mash. It was pretty okay, nothing spectacular. The sauces were equally underwhelming. They have a drive through. I mean it’s worth it to make the drive to a legit bbq place instead.

Food was EXCELLENT! We are out of towners & stopped for lunch, best lunch we have had! The hush puppies are to DIE for! When we come back to FL, we will definitely add this to our list of stops!

First time there on Saturday night. Even though we walked in late, 8:20, the staff was friendly and attentive.

Great food, clean, modern restaurant, salad bar, nice decor with lots of original black and white photos from the areas history.

My husband thought he had “died and gone to heaven” when he saw smothered pork chops with white gravy and covered in “hoppin’ john!” And the best part was it even better than described! Everyone was extremely friendly, and our waiter Joe was great. Another huge plus is that everything is homemade including the barbecue sauce and the desserts! And they have a full bar! We’ll be back! Really like the food here, and the servers are friendly. Wings are great. Recently tried the chef’s choice for a sandwich with sliced pork and ham on a ciabatta, and it was delicious! Side of collards with hot sauce was perfect-o.

I’m used to having BBQ on Memorial Day and had a hard time finding a place that was open today. I’m so glad that we came upon Sweet Smoke Southern Kitchen!! The food was delicious and the service was just as great! We had plenty of food to share and take some home so we can let that good taste linger a little longer. If you’re looking for good BBQ look no further!! Great job SSSK!!!

Very dangerous to eat, my chicken, wings tasted pre-frozen or freezer burnt.

This was our first visit. We had a party of 12 and were seated immediately. Everyone enjoyed their meals, but four of us had the baby back ribs. Highly recommend.
