Cute place with outside dinning. Good customer service. Lunch portions are big at a great price, and nicely plated. We ordered soup (bland), Chicken Piccata which was super acidic, and Penne Toscana with absolutely no flavor. It was supposed to have garlic in wine sauce. Maybe it was just that time.

Overall the service was great! The wait for our food wasn’t too long but when we received our food it wasn’t that hot, and wasn’t crunchy at all. And I also thought it was a bit overpriced.

Had an after work/ school dinner, wasn’t too busy or overcrowded, food came out fresh , waiter was pleasant, I had enough to eat for 3 days , portions are generous.

Nice spot here in Port St. Lucie. Ordered the Lasagna and it was a nice portion. I just think the sauce needed a bit more flavor and my cheese wasn’t melted for that stretch‼️That’s minor and can be fixed, but the place is nice and the staff is one point. We ordered a pizza and spaghetti with meatballs. The 2 meatballs were HUGH and my son really enjoyed them. Check them out‼️

I have nothing bad to say from my experience eating at “Sweet Basil”. We arrived just before 5:00pm and there was only one table seated. By the time we left, over half the restaurant was full. Our waiter knew the menu and was pleasant. He also filled our sodas once they got down to 1/3 without us having to ask. We thought that prices were a little high, until our our dinners arrived. The portions were huge! I had the lasagna, while my friend ordered the Manicotti. I immediately cut mine in half (which is the normal size that I expected) knowing that I will be taking the other half home. Very good food. The tomato sauce that covered my lasagna was leaning towards rich, but was more sweet than I expected (thus the name?). That is actually a nice change from most other the other Italian food spots that we have eaten at. If you are hungry, and want a good change from the same old Italian Restaurants, eat at “Sweet Basil”. You should not be disappointed.

Great food. Deal nights are the way to go. Pie of the day with a salad or fresh mozzarella are always very good.

They are so big and I had grilled chicken with fresh strawberries, apples, candied whole pecans with field greens not bad for $13.00 !!! I infact got 2 meals out it!!!!! Yum yum!! Thier homemade italian salad dressing is the perfect amount of sweet and savory. Super tasty! Both dishes we tried were delicious but those clams were seriously on point. Garlic and butter and deliciousness. Their garlic knots are always great and are served dripping with olive oil to dip them in. And then we topped it off with the chocolate mousse cake…..oh em gee! Talk about a proper mousse cake. The chocolate was super decadent and went really well with the strawberries they served it with. Delicious. Plus the inside of the restaurant is really cute!

The food was just ok. The eggplant rollatini was not great. Eggplant was hard. Maybe overcooked? Or they deep fried it. And barely any riccata cheese so it was dry. No mozzarella at all. And not only was the cheese dry it was crumbly. I challenge the chef to go eat the same dish at Santos in Jensen Beach and see wht it should realy taste like. Tender. Cheesy and eat with a fork .no knife and the garlic knots were old and hard. Having owned bakery could tell not fresh
