Not your traditional Thai restaurant. Different but delicious. Portion sizes are smaller than expected and this is a bit expensive for what you get. Flavors are great, proportions of meat to other ingredients a bit low. Ambiance fabulous yet a little awkward sitting with other parties at the same table. Upstairs we think is reserved seating only but has couches and low tables for a different vibe and great views with the large 2nd floor windows.

To start, we got the crispy chicken skin and salt n pepper calamari. The crispy chicken skin was delicious and flavorful. I liked the calamari, but would prefer for it to be as crispy as the chicken. We also enjoyed their happy hour cocktails. For the mains, we had the son in law and the curry mussels. Both entrees were AMAZING. The flavor profile of both were out of this world. The son in law is smokey and sweet while the curry mussels were light, sour, and savory. Would highly recommend this place.

Me and my partner decided to try Sway for our anniversary. We loved the food, service and atmosphere of this lovely restaurant! The rooftop was so cozy and inviting. Allison our server was absolutely amazing, we will be returning! Come here you won’t regret it!

We left this place so happy. The seating is communal, meaning you share your table with strangers. Even so, there’s still adequate privacy because the tables are large squares and they put parties in separate corners, so it really didn’t seem like we lost privacy or had to share space. The service was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The menus are all listed as to what is vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free, which was so helpful. And the food was absolutely delicious.

Man I have missed this place. Sway in the Domain, it 2nd and former location was the weekly delight. And the food at this location in Westlake was just as good. It’s community seating so be nice and get to know your neighbors. We started with cocktails my love had the refreshing Monk water and I had the bourbon forward Bangkoks Backbone both were great. We started with the prawn miange and the shu Mai pork dumplings. This food is not only beautiful its tasty. They bring food out as its ready. So just eat everything. The prawns are light but pack a punch of flavor with so chilis. The pork dumplings are amazing, Super crunchy and fun. We shared 2 dishes the nashi pear chicken and the jungle curry with a side of yams. And the yams have it, it was the most simple and delicious bite. But the jungle curry with beef brisket and coconut cream to cool the heat is always amazing. But yo…its spicy. We finished with a coconut lime sorbet and realized how full we were before it was time to leave. I was leaving out of town the next morning for a work trip and I recall not sleeping well that night, I know it was the fact of knowing we were ti going to be apart. The leaving is hard, but the seeing you again, the huge smile, long super hard embrace, and slow drawn out kisses are worth the wait. You make life worth living. This place is absolutely gorgeous and quite a gem. Sways interior design is modern and sophisticated. The second floor area overlooks the downtown and the view was beautiful at night. Service was excellent and the food was even better. Portions are small but each dish was delicious.
