We are a veteran-owned, community-focused independent coffee shop in the heart of Central PA offering coffee, tea, espresso, gourmet drinks (including frappes, hot chocolate, smoothies, cappuccinos, and lattes), made-in-house baked goods, breakfast goodies (including sandwiches), sandwiches for lunch and dinner, soup, and salads. We offer take-out catering, fundraisers, special events, and coffee shop rentals. We have sugar-free, kosher, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. We’re excited to be your meet-up location! Fantastic coffee, sweet treats & sandwiches, but that is far from everything Swatara Coffee has to offer. Monica has an amazing crew that cares about their customers, which is shown in the way they greet & remember individuals. Here we have a cafe with a cozy atmosphere, great food, and (some) welcoming baristas… believe me when I say that I would have loved to rate this place five stars, but I must say; the lady who was working in the morning of Friday, April 14th is extremely rude. She gave me an incredibly nasty attitude as I was ordering, and so I told her to have a better day and walked out.

All the drinks we’ve had have been made really well and with consistency. You don’t get one really good drink and then a bad one every other time like some chains can do. The breakfast/brunch bagels and sandwiches are just the same. Really well made, and there is something to be said for the Turkey Avocado stack. With it’s house made Sriracha-bourbon mayo, it’s a killer sandwich.

Great service! I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this cafe. At this point I have tried their coffee, tea, cold brew and lattes and I enjoyed all of them! The outdoor seating has a lovely court yard with flowers in the summer and the town christmas tree in the winter. The service was fast, fun and friendly. 10/10 would recommend. I will be back!

Great coffee and very good sandwiches. I think they should name a sandwich after my wife she eats there so much! update: my first time in for a breakfast sandwich since the new owners and was not very impressed. The ham on the sandwich was straight from the refrigerator and the bagel was not toasted at all. The only warm part was the egg itself. Definitely a step down from what I was accustomed to.
