I have been to this location several times.

The decor is top notch and has always been. Very clean environment and food display/presentation was great. I have been here a few times and I’m always wowed by the interior decorations. The food has never disappointed either but this place is slightly priced higher than typical West African carry out place. It’s easily a high end restaurant so bare that in mind when you see the price.

First time having African cuisine…went to Suya Spot with my family. Had a good time trying something new (to me) and different. Will definitely be going back to experience more of the menu. Shout Out to the staff and the host Mr. Michael

Honestly, spend your money somewhere else. I was very disappointed with the portion sizes, but I take accountability on not reading the most recent reviews.

The food here (tilapia) which we always get is amazing fried to perfection. The aunties got that recipe on lock. Atmosphere depends on the day just not Sunday. Friday and Saturday be there by 730 and it’s lit . If you have never been and would love to try African cuisine definitely go and music and drinks great….

Interesting setup but the food is good. Walking in the first time can be a bit confusing but they throw parties and are open late night with music. This helped a lot when I checked into the hotel down the street and was lookibg for dinner.

I picked up my catering order on Saturday and multiple food items that I received were spoiled.

My experience was great. It’s took quite a while for my food, BUT. It was amazing. Ordered pounded yam $19.00 (it was sooooo good) the fried rice $9.00 was ok, it was not bad but it didn’t seem like it was fried. The pepper fish $17.00was good as well. The deep fried fish $27.00 was amazing it was well seasoned served with onion and tomato slices. The drinks oh my goodness we had a mixture of two. A mixed drink call side car (something with Hennessy). The other one was the Lagos shuffle! I found out why it was called that. This drink seems light but when it hits you, it’s heavy! The Lagos shuffle is $12. I don’t remember if the Side car was the same price. Just be mindful that the restaurant does automatically as 15.00% gratuity. I tipped over that and still was charged! The bartended was nice and she did a good job with our table. The tip was ok…

Went on Christmas Eve, was welcomed well with my family. The restaurant is very well decorated with all sorts of pictures of city’s in Nigeria. There were also statues, calabashes and my personal favorite a black bicycle pinned to a chandelier!

Located in a new development, has a relaxing atmosphere and is tastefully decorated and furnished with classic as well as contemporary African/Nigerian arts and crafts. Food is classic Nigerian, delicious and well worth the price. However, portion size is a little bit small and if taking out, it might be beneficial to order ahead of time. Staff are friendly and engaging. All in all, not a bad place to take friends and family.
