We had our first trip to Sutera’s tonight and absolutely loved it! My wife had the stuffed shells and I had the chicken parm – both were outstanding! We also tried a side of their Alfredo sauce and used it to dip the bread- one of the best Alfredo’s I have ever had! Brought their flourless chocolate cake home for dessert! Excellent service and prices! We will be back!

Easy to find with plenty of parking. Sutera’s Italian restaurant has been feeding hungry citizens of Kansas City for at least three generations. I remember my Grandfather taking me to Sutera’s way back in the late 1960’s when they were still in the West bottoms near the stockyards. When the princess and I moved to our home in Armor Hills we thoroughly enjoyed their restaurant in Brookside in the 1980’s and dined there often. I just discovered this location in Gladstone last week. I had a meatball sandwich and my vegetarian friend ordered the baked vegetable casserole. The food was excellent and served fast and hot ! Our server , Frank, was very knowledgeable and seemed happy to answer all of our questions. I really enjoyed this meal and I am sure to return soon.

Just found this place googling Itallian. Pretty good find. Had the large stuffed shells and it was delicious! Kids had their pizzas and loved the sauce. Hardly do these kids eat their crust. Finishes up with a conoli. Place is a MUST try for local Itallian and the staff is great..

Ordered pizza online for pickup. It was on time and piping hot. Crust is hand-tossed in regards to thickness and crispy at the edges with great flavor by itself. Love the sauce, has just a tiny bit of sweetness to it and overall very flavorful! Will definitely go back and try some of their other dishes. Lots of pasta dishes on menu.

Nothing really wrong with the food, it’s everything else. Floor covering was ripped out. No one in there. No ombiance at all. Owner served us. Cook brought out food. Christmas stocking still thumb tacked to the wall. What?? No one ever came in while we were there. This is a dead place. Please re-do this place to give customers something to come back to and enjoy.
