The actual food looks nothing like what is shown on the menu. The portion of the meat to the rice is so off. For a rice bowl this price (almost $12), there are very few pieces of chicken in the bowl. The batter on the fried chicken fell apart after having stir-fried in the sauce with other vegetables. It became so mushy that it’s not even satisfying to consume anymore. Even if the taste itself isn’t that bad, I still would not recommend.

This is a great place to get yummy hot bowls for lunch or dinner! The food is good and fresh. I really liked it – they have a variety of Katsu and chicken / meat bowls. It’s located in mitsuwa market at the del amo fashion center and because it’s part of the food court in the market, the food is made hot and fresh so it’s more expensive then the bento boxes from the fridge/area in the back of the market. Both the cold bento boxes and these hot bowls from the food court are really good but the fridged ones are a lot cheaper! Sutodonya bowls are also heavier – lots of sauce / curry over the meat if that’s what you ordered. If you’re eating here make sure you come hungry. They serve more rice bowls/plates items. I gave it three stars because it felt a bit pricier for what it was (although I liked it and it was good) if we’re discussing price and quality I thought the quality was okay for the price compared to the fridged bento boxes which were delicious and cheap.

Like os, it seems many people were confused about the new menu and self ordering system. Basically, they have streamlined everything and there is more meat and less vegetables than before.

I’ve tried their spicy pork bowl but found out they have peanuts put and I have a severe peanut allergy. There were no food allergy warning signs put up at all on their menu and especially for the spicy pork bowl specifically (if I’m wrong please correct me) My allergies nearly came in almost causing myself to have to puke but luckily it didn’t entirely kick in and I was able to still request the original pork bowl that I always get before and eat but with some loss of appetite.

Very disappointed. My order “for here” was packed in to go plastic containers and instead ordered pan fried gyozas I got deep fried with crazy amounts of oil in them.

it looks good bc of the pics on the menu but it was not great.. the breading on the chicken tasted soggy and was super salty, i added a soft boiled egg and assumed it would have just a soft yolk.. it was damn near raw

First thing that happened is that I was double charged for my meal. (March 18, 2023) I was told that they were aware that I was double billed and I would be reimbursed. As of today it hasn’t happened and I am unable to get through to their office. (The phone mailbox is full or they won’t answer).

I had the curry bowl with chicken katsu. Chicken was overcooked, almost burnt. Too much breading. 17 dollars for very mediocre curry bowl with chicken katsu. The kitchen looked dirty while 2 teenage workers were entertaining themselves on their smart phones while not paying attention to customers. I had to call for help with ordering

not good ! I had a chicken cutlet meal. The chicken was weird. soggy, unappetizing color, …seemed old. …..nothing like a good chicken katsu. Hard to even tell what was in there. The miso soup was good, the rice was ok otherwise zero stars.
